THE following Notice to Mariners, received from
the Marine Board, Sydney, is published for
general information.

ALTERATION IN LIGHTS ON THE COAST.
ON and after the night of Monday, the 2nd February,
the danger arc of the Crowdy Head Light for clear-
ing the Mermaid Reef will be shaded red, in place of
being darkened, as described in the notification issued
from this office on the 5th November last.

On the same date (2nd February) the tempo-
rary light at the Clarence River Heads will be
discontinued, andithe fourth order dioptric fixed light
exhibited instead. This will be visible in ordinary
weather at a distance of ten or twelve miles from
seaward. -
The two bright temporary lights at the Rich-
mond River Heads will also be discontinued on the
2nd February, and a red fixed light exhibited, that
will be visible from seaward at a distance of about ten
miles in clear weather.

Certain Land classed as Pastoral Land.

IT is hereby notified that the Commissioners
appointed in pursuance of the seventy-fifth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," have reported to
His Excellency the Governor that the land described
in the Schedule hereto shall be classified as pastoral
land, and the Governor has determined that the same
shall be disposed of as pastoral land upon deferred
payments, as provided by sections seventy-six to
eighty-five inclusive of "The Land Act, 1877."
