South by Section 8, 500 links; and on
the South-east by part of Section 7,
269-3 links.

links, by Crown lands; on the South-
eastward, 400 links, by Crown lands; on
the South-westward, 500 links, by Crown
lands; and on the North-westward, 400
links, by Crown lands.

River Wakaepa; and Westward by Sec-
tion 2407 (in red), 1700 links: and num-
bered 2408 (in red) on the official map
in the Provincial District Survey Office,
Christchurch.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:
