NOTICE OF PROPOSAL TO TAKE LAND FOR THE
PURPOSE OF MAKING THE APPROACH ON THE
WEST SIDE TO THE HAMILTON CART-BRIDGE.
NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under
the provisions of "The Public Works Act,
1876," and its amending Acts, to execute a certain
public work, to wit, the construction of the approach
on the west side of the river to the Hamilton cart-
bridge at Richmond Street, Hamilton West, in the
County of Waipa, Provincial District of Auckland,
and for the purposes of such public work the land
described in the Schedule hereto is required to be
taken.
And notice is further given that the plan of the
land so required to be taken is deposited in the
Council Chambers, Victoria Street, Hamilton West,
and is there open for inspection.
And notice is hereby given that all persons affected
by the execution of the said public work or by the
taking of the said land shall, if they have any well-
grounded objections to the execution of the said
work or the taking of such land, set forth the same
in writing, and send such writing within forty days
from the first publication of this notice to the
Hamilton Borough Council.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land being part of
Allotment No. 60, Hamilton West, County Waipa,
in the Provincial District of Auckland, containing
by admeasurement fourteen perches, more or less.
Bounded—Northerly by Richmond Street, three hun-
dred and seventy links; and Southerly and South-
easterly by lines, three hundred and five links and
eighty-five links respectively, or thereabouts.
Dated at Hamilton, this eighth day of November,
1880.

THE GISBORNE MAORI NEWSPAPER COMPANY
(LIMITED).
In the matter of "The Joint-Stock Companies Act,
1860," and the Acts amending the same, and in
the matter of the Gisborne Maori Newspaper Com-
pany (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the Shareholders of the
Gisborne Maori Newspaper Company (Limited), held
at Napier on the 29th day of October, 1880, the
following special resolutions were duly passed,
namely:—
- That the Company be wound up voluntarily.
- That Charles Bonfield Hoadley and James Lyon,
of Napier, Auctioneers, be appointed Liquidators of
the Company, with power to either of them by him-
self to do all acts and deeds which could be done by
by both of them acting together.
And that the said special resolutions were, at an
extraordinary general meeting of the said Share.
