"The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand and Administrator of the Government thereof, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
John G. Gohl. Angus McKay. James McKay. Thomas Milne. John Wright. James McKercher. LONGBUSH.
All that piece or parcel of land in the Southland Division of the Provincial District of Otago, containing by admeasure- ment 3 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 30 on the map of the Longbush Township. Bounded towards the North by a public road, 676 links; on the East by Section No. 29 of said township, 349 links; towards the South-east by south-east boundary of the said township, 700 links; and on the West by Section No. 31 of the said township, 775 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less; as the same is delineated on the map in the Survey Office, Invercargill.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this nineteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Trustees appointed for Maintenance of Tapanui Public Cemetery.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au- thorities vested in me by the second section of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, and Administrator of the Government thereof, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

Noble McMillin. Benjamin Washer. George Turnbull. Neil Colquhoun. Alexander Mason. William Simmonds. James Mair. TAPANUI.
Glenkenich District, being Section No. 2, Block IV., on the map of the said district, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 20 perches, more or less. Bounded towards the North by Crown lands, 550 links; towards the East by Crown lands, 750 links; towards the South by Crown lands, 550 links; and towards the West by Crown lands and a road-line, 750 links.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this twenty-second day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Fixing Sittings of the District Court of Western Otago District.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power in that behalf enabling me, I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zealand, and Administrator of the Government thereof, do hereby fix and appoint that the sittings of the District Court of the Western Otago District shall, from and after the date hereof, cease to be held at the Council Hall at Invercargill, and shall be held at the new Courthouse at Invercargill, in lieu thereof, at the times appointed for the said sittings..

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Administrator of the Government, this twenty-third day of November, one thousand eight hundred and eighty.

Warrant appointing certain Persons to issue Licenses in certain Provincial Districts.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and au- thorities enabling me in that behalf, I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of the Colony of New Zea- land, and Administrator of the Government thereof, do hereby appoint the officers named in the Schedule hereto to have, exercise, and perform, within the pro- vincial districts set opposite the names of their offices, all the powers, duties, and functions which immediately before the abolition of the provinces formerly included within the said districts were vested in or might be exercised or performed by the Provincial Treasurers, Provincial Secretaries, or other public officers of such provinces, so far as relates to or concerns the issue of licenses of any kind or de- scription whatsoever, under any Act or Ordinance in force within such provincial districts respectively.
