Addition of Land to Camp Ward, Borough of
Arrowtown.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the sixth
day of August, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-eight, and made under "The Municipal
Corporations Act, 1876," the land described in the
Schedule hereto was incorporated into the Borough
of Arrowtown, the same being a borough divided into
wards: And whereas it is expedient that the said
land should be added to the Camp Ward of the said
borough:

Now, therefore, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers vested in the Governor by the fourth section
of "The Municipal Corporations Acts Amendment
Act, 1880," I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice of
the Colony of New Zealand, and Administrator of
the Government thereof, having been petitioned in
that behalf by the Mayor and Council of the said
borough, do hereby declare that the land described in
the said Schedule shall be added to the Camp Ward
of the said borough.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 264 acres, more or less,
being part of the area known as the Mining Reserve,
Block X., Shotover District. Bounded towards the
North by Arrowtown Borough, from the north-eastern
corner of Section No. 38, Block VII., Shotover, to the
Arrow River; towards the North-east by the Arrow
River to a point in continuation of the southern
boundary of Section No. 25, Block VII., Shotover
District; towards the South by other part of Mining
Reserve, being a line due east and west in continua-
tion of south boundary of Section No. 25, Block VII.,
aforesaid; and towards the South-west by Sections
Nos. 25, 30, 31, 32, 88, 33, 34, 35, 67, 36, 37, and 38,
Block VII., Shotover District aforesaid, to the starting
point, and intersected by a road-line 100 links wide:

as the same is more particularly delineated on the
plans in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Given under the hand of His Excellency James
Prendergast, Esquire, Chief Justice, the
Administrator of the Government of Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand; and
issued under the Seal of the said Colony,
at the Government House, at Wellington,
this nineteenth day of November, in the
year of our Lord one thousand eight
hundred and eighty.

Alteration of Boundaries of Wards of Masterton
Highway District, County of Wairarapa West.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation of the Superin-
tendent of the late Province of Wellington,
bearing date the first day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-two, and published in the Wel-
lington Provincial Gazette, number fifteen, of the
first day of July, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-two, the Highway District of Masterton was
divided into wards, and the boundaries of the said
wards were defined by the said Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, James Prendergast, Chief Justice
of the Colony of New Zealand, and Administrator
of the Government thereof, by virtue and in exercise
of the powers conferred upon me by the eleventh
section of an Act of the Superintendent and Pro-
vincial Council of the late Province of Wellington,
Session twenty-seven, number ten, intituled "The
Highways Act, 1874," and "The Abolition of Pro-
vinces Act, 1875," and all other authorities there-
unto me enabling, do hereby revoke the aforesaid
Proclamation so far as relating to the constitution of
Wards number one, number two, and number three of
the said district, and the definition of the boundaries
