Notice under Native Lands Acts, 1873-74, altering Time and Place for investigating Claims.
NOTICE is hereby given that the hearing of the two claims—viz., Ngaruroro and Mohaka—which are advertised for adjudication at the sitting of the Court, to be held at Tapuaeharuru on the 29th instant will not take place, but will be adjourned to a future sitting, to be held most probably at Napier.

JOINT Standing Orders of both Houses of the General Assembly relative to Local Bills :—
- Local Bills are those which, not being private Bills, affect particular localities only.
- No local Bill shall be read a second time unless notice shall have been given of the said Bill in the locality to which the Bill refers.
- Such notice shall state explicitly the object which such Bill is intended to effect, and shall have been published once at least in each of three successive weeks before the second reading, in a newspaper circulating in such locality.
