to be the Deputy of the Registrar of Marriages and
of Births and Deaths for the District of Dunedin.

as Vice-Consul and Deputy-Consul for the United
States at Auckland.

JOHN NUGENT WOOD, Esq.,
to be Resident Magistrate for the Districts of Ash-
burton and Geraldine, with extended jurisdiction to
Β£100, and Chairman of the Licensing Courts for the
Districts of Ashburton, Mount Peel, Geraldine, and
Temuka, vice Frank Guinness, Esq., transferred.
These appointments to take effect on and from the
1st November, 1880.
