MURIMOTU BLOCK.
A t sitting of the Native Land Court of New Zealand, begun and holden at Mangonui, in the said
district, on the 15th day of November, 1878, before Henry A. H. Monro, Esquire, Judge, and
Aperahama Patene, Assessor:
In the matter of the application of William Webster, Esquire, the District Officer for the district
above-named for the subdivision of the Murimotu Block, numbered 2,788.
It was ordered, that the piece of land defined in the Schedule hereto containing 1,706 acres more or
less, numbered 2,788, and known by the name of Murimotu No. 1, has been duly ceded to Her Majesty
Queen Victoria.
Witness the hand of Henry A. H. Monro, Esquire, Judge, and the Seal of the Court, the
16th day of November, 1878.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand,
containing by admeasurement 1,706 acres more or less, situate in the North Cape Survey District, and being
the Northern portion of the Block known by the name of Murimotu, and numbered 2,788. Bounded
towards the North by the sea, towards the South-east by the sea, towards the South by other portion of the
Murimotu Block 18948.7 links, and towards the North-west by the sea; together with the adjacent island
known as North Cape Island, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

wahia tetahi whenua ko Murimotu te ingoa, ko te Nama 2788.
Na ko tetahi wahi o taua whenua ko Murimotu Nama 1, te ingoa, 1706 eka, nui atu iti iho ranei, kua
oti nei te whakaatu i te pukapuha e piri ake nei, kua whakataua e te Kooti ki a Kuini Wikitoria, oti tonu
atu ki a ia.
