NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Clyde of the Otago Gold
Fields Mining District, and all persons whom it
may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Water-race and divert water for domestic pur-
poses, commencing at a point in Gorge Creek, about
three-quarters of a mile above William Courtier's
residence area, and terminating at the said residence
area. The length of such race is about three-
quarters of a mile, the mean breadth and depth of
such race is 20 inches by 6 inches, and it is proposed
to divert and carry half a head of water.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership hitherto existing between the
undersigned as Boot Manufacturers has been
dissolved by mutual agreement, as from 1st Novem-
ber, 1878.
The business in future will be carried on by Alfred
Henry Shelton, who will receive all debts due to the
late firm and pay all liabilities connected with the
same.
