from thence by the north boundaries of said Lot 5,
and of Lot 4, Parish of Ahuroa, to a road forming
the eastern boundary of said Lot 4; thence by the
centre of the aforesaid road forming the western
boundaries of Lots 67 and 66 to the south-west
corner of Lot 64, and by the western boundary of
that lot to a road; and thence by the centre of that
road forming the northern boundaries of Lots 64, 65,
and 72, to the north-east corner of the last-named
lot; thence by the eastern boundaries of Lots 72,
71, 70, and 69-all the aforementioned lots being of
the Parish of Ahuroa aforesaid; thence by the northern
boundary of the Parish of Puhoi to the north-western
corner of Lot 116 of that parish; thence by the
western boundary of said Lot 116 to the north-west
corner of the southern portion of it, belonging to
John Schiska; thence by the northern boundary of
said southern portion of Lot 116 to the western
boundary of the Okahu Block; thence northerly by
the western and then by the northern boundaries of
that block to the north-western corner of that portion
of the Okahu Block belonging to G. Weeks; thence
by the western boundary of that portion, and by its
southern boundary, to the north-west corner of that
portion of the Okahu Block belonging to G. Scott;
thence by the western and southern boundaries of the
last-named portion to the eastern boundary of the
Okahu Block; thence southerly by that eastern
boundary to its intersection with the Muri Stream,
at a point 8760 links from the north-east corner of
the said Okahu Block; thence by that stream down-
wards to its intersection with the north-western
boundary of the Nokenoke Block; thence by the
north-western and south-western boundaries of that
block to the sea; thence southerly by the sea to the
mouth of the Waiwera River; towards the South by
the Waiwera River aforesaid, and by the southern
boundaries of Lots 52, 53, 54, 60, 61, 62, 82, 85, 104,
107, 108, 109, and 110, Parish of Puhoi, and by the
northern boundaries of Lots 112 and 111, Parish of
Waiwera; and towards the West by a line forming
the western boundary of the Parish of Puhoi to the
point of commencement.

Governor, this twenty-second day of July,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-

Highways Act brought into Operation in Puhoi
Highway District.
HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.
UNDER and in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by an Act of the
Province of Auckland intituled "The Highways
Act, 1874," and by "The Abolition of Provinces
Act, 1875," I, Hercules George Robert Robinson,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do
hereby notify that I do hereby bring the said
"Highways Act, 1874," into operation in the
Puhoi Highway District; and I further notify that
I do hereby appoint Saturday, the second day of
August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine, at four o'clock p.m., at the Puhoi Schoolhouse,
to be the day, hour, and place for the first meeting
of ratepayers for the said district; and I appoint
John Wenzlik to be the Chairman of such meeting.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twenty-second day of July,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

publication in the colony under your Government,
copies of the second supplement to the London
Gazette of the 4th of April, notifying the appoint-
ment of a Royal Commission, of which His Royal
Highness the Prince of Wales has consented to act
as President, to promote the success of the Inter-
national Exhibition to be held in Sydney in 1879,
and the International Exhibition to be held in Mel-
bourne in 1880-81.
