the south-eastern boundary of Rural Section 1675 at
a distance of 2597 links from the starting point.
Also all that parcel of land, 1 chain wide, being
part of Rural Section No. 1675, situate in the County
of Akaroa, and containing by admeasurement 1 acre
and 30 perches, more or less, the centre of which com-
mences at a point situate 269 links distant from the
north-western boundary of Rural Section 1675, at its
junction with the western side of the road known as
Manson's Hill Road; thence in a south-westerly
direction a distance of 1193 links to the north-
western side of the road passing through Rural Sec-
tion 1675, the last-named road running in a south-
westerly direction.
Also all that piece or parcel of land, 1 chain wide,
being parts of Rural Sections Nos. 21302 and 5097,
situate in the County of Akaroa, and containing by
admeasurement 7 acres 3 roods and 14 perches, more
or less, the centre of which commences at a point
situate 280 links distant from the south-east corner
of Rural Section 21302; thence in a north-westerly
direction a distance of 7820 links to the eastern side
of the road separating Rural Sections 4429 and
5097, crossing the north-western boundary of Rural
Section 21302 at a distance of 4840 links from the
starting point; the above particulars being delineated
on the map marked A attached to the memorial
referred to.

228 and 6636, situate in the County of Akaroa, and
containing by admeasurement 3 roods 33 perches,
more or less. Commencing at a point on the south-
east boundary of Rural Section 6636, being 262 links
south of the north-east corner thereof; thence south-
west at a bearing of 212° 31' a distance of 100 links;
thence south-west at a bearing of 227° 41' a distance
of 111·1 links; thence south-west at a bearing of
255° 13' a distance of 479-4 links, crossing the south
western boundary of Rural Section 6636 at a dis-
tance of 190 links; thence south-west at a bearing
of 251° 34' a distance of 161.8 links; thence south-
