then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act,
do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Nelson described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Nelson, containing about eight acres. Bounded on
the Northward, about one hundred and seventy-five
(175) links, by Section numbered 303, on Square 84;
on the Eastward two thousand (2000) links by
Leonard Street, and three hundred (300) links by
part of Section 92, Town of Waiau; on the South-
ward, about four hundred and ten (410) links, by
Culverden Street; and on the Westward by the
River Mason, including Section numbered 93, Town
of Waiau. For the improvement and protection of
the River Waiau-ua.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this third day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

Trustees appointed for Maintenance of Drybread
Cemetery (Otago).

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the second section
of "The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I,
George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Nor-
manby, the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint the several persons whose names
are specified in the first column of the Schedule
hereto to be Trustees to provide for the maintenance
and care of the public cemetery specified in the
second column of the said Schedule.

taining by admeasurement four (4)
acres, more or less, situate in the
Lauder District, being Section num-
bered 2, Block VI., on the map of the
said district. Bounded as follows:
Commencing at a point one hundred
and sixty-three (163) links south-west
bearing 222° 36′ from Sub-Trig. (i)
(which sub-trig. is distant nine thou-
sand two hundred and twenty-five and
eight-tenths (9225-8) links from Trig.
Station F, Lauder District, in a north-
easterly direction bearing 55° 08′),
thence in a line bearing 4° 30′
northerly, six hundred and thirty-
two and four-tenths (632-4) links;
thence easterly in a line bearing 274°
30', six hundred and thirty-two and
four-tenths (632.4) links; thence
southerly in a line bearing 4° 30',
six hundred and thirty-two and four-
tenths (6324) links; thence westerly
in a line bearing 94° 30', six hundred
and thirty-two and four-tenths (632.4)
links, and bounded on all sides by
Crown lands: as the same is delineated
on the plans in the Survey Office,
Dunedin.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this third day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

Fixing Sittings of District Court of Otago Gold
Fields.

NORMANBY, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and autho-
rity in this behalf enabling me, I, George Augustus
Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby fix and appoint
that sittings of the District Court of the Otago Gold
Fields for Civil and Criminal business shall be held
as follows, in lieu of those previously fixed and ap-
pointed:-

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Palmerston, on the twenty-seventh day of
January, the twenty-seventh day of February,
the twenty-seventh day of March, the thirtieth
day of April, the twenty-sixth day of May,
the twenty-seventh day of June, the twenty-
eighth day of July, the twenty-eighth day of
August, the twenty-ninth day of September,
the twenty-ninth day of October, the twenty-
seventh day of November, and the thirtieth
day of December in each year.

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Naseby, on the thirtieth day of January, the
thirty-first day of March, the twenty-ninth
day of May, the thirty-first day of July, the
first day of October, and the first day of
December in each year.

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Clyde, on the third day of February, the
seventh day of April, the second day of June,
the 4th day of August, the sixth day of
October, and the fourth day of December in
each year.

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Cromwell, on the sixth day of February, the
tenth day of April, the fifth day of June, the
seventh day of August, the ninth day of
October, and the eighth day of December in
each year.

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Queenstown, on the tenth day of February,
the fourteenth day of April, the ninth day of
June, the eleventh day of August, the thir-
teenth day of October, and the tenth day of
December in each year.

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Arrowtown, on the thirteenth day of Febru-
ary, the seventeenth day of April, the twelfth
day of June, the fourteenth day of August,
the sixteenth day of October, and the twelfth
day of December in each year.

In the Resident Magistrate's Courthouse at
Lawrence on the twenty-fourth day of Febru-
ary, the twenty-eighth day of April, the
twenty-fifth day of June, the twenty-fifth
day of August, the twenty-seventh day of
October, and the twenty-second day of De-
cember in each year.

Provided that in case any of the days so fixed as
aforesaid shall happen to be a Sunday or a holiday,
then the Court appointed for that day shall be holden
on the first day thereafter not being a Sunday or a
holiday.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this third day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.
