GOD SAVE THE QUEEN!

according to the provisions of the laws regulating the
sale and disposal of waste lands of the Crown for the
time being in force in the land district in which such
land is situated; and thereupon such land so pro-
claimed shall become subject to such provisions:
And whereas the lands described in the Schedule
hereto have been purchased out of the sums autho-
rized under "The Immigration and Public Works
Act, 1870," and Acts amending the same, and it is
expedient that the said lands should be declared to
be waste lands of the Crown:
Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, being satisfied that the lands described
in the Schedule hereto are free from Native
claims and all difficulties in connection there-
with, in pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by "The Waste Lands Ad-
ministration Act, 1876," do hereby proclaim and
declare the said lands to be waste lands of the Crown,
subject to be sold and dealt with according to the
provisions of the laws regulating the sale and disposal
of waste lands of the Crown in force in the Land
District of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN exercise of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by "The Protection of Animals Act,
1873," and by "The Abolition of Provinces Act,
1875," and in exercise of every other power enabling
me in that behalf, I, Hercules George Robert Robin-
son, Administrator of the Government of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that
cock-pheasants and Californian quail shall be open
to be hunted, shot, taken, or killed, within the
Counties of Waikouaiti, Maniototo, Vincent, Lake,
Peninsula, Taieri, Bruce, Clutha, and Tuapeka, be-
tween the first day of June, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-nine, and the thirty-first day
of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine, both inclusive, and that hares shall be open to
be hunted (coursed) in the said counties between
the first day of May, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-nine, and the thirty-first day of July,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, both
inclusive, but only between the hours of sunrise and
sunset.

Lands declared to be Waste Lands of the Crown.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the seventeenth section of "The
Waste Lands Administration Act, 1876," it
is enacted that, whenever the Governor is satisfied
that any lands purchased out of the sums authorized
under "The Immigration and Public Works Act,
1870," and any Act amending the same, to be issued
and expended in the purchase of lands in the North
Island of New Zealand, are free from Native claims
and all difficulties in connection therewith, he shall,
by Proclamation, declare such lands to be waste
lands of the Crown, subject, except as thereafter in
the said Act provided, to be sold and dealt with

SCHEDULE.
WAIKOROPUPU No. 1.
All that piece of land at Hokianga, in the District
of Hokianga, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
known by the name of Waikoropupu No. 1, contain-
ing by admeasurement 4,722 acres 3 roods and
35 poles, more or less. Bounded towards the North
by the Waikoropupu No. 2 Block, 20318.6 links ;
towards the East by the Mangapukahukahu Block,
8976 links; towards the South by lines and the
Ahutoatoa Block, 31634 links; and towards the
West by the Omahuta No. 2 Block, 29984 links.

WAIKOROPUPU No. 2.
All that piece of land at Hokianga, in the District
of Hokianga, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
known by the name of Waikoropupu No. 2, contain-
ing by admeasurement 1,728 acres 3 roods and
20 poles, more or less. Bounded towards the
North-east by the Waikoropupu No. 3 Block,
33434 links; towards the South by the Mangapuka-
hukahu Stream and the Waikoropupu No. 1 Block,
20318.6 links; and towards the West by the
Omahuta Nos. 2 and 1 Blocks, 12501 links.

WAIKOROPUPU No. 3.
All that piece of land at Hokianga, in the District
of Hokianga, in the Provincial District of Auckland,
known by the name of Waikoropupu No. 3, contain-
ing by admeasurement 1,804 acres and 32 poles,
more or less. Bounded towards the North-east by
the Whakateterakia Stream, Whakateterakai Block,
6740 links, the Whakateterakai and Mangapapa
Streams; towards the South-west by the Waikoro-
pupu No. 2 Block, 33434 links; and towards the
North-west by the Omahuta No. 1 Block, 3341 links.
