being Section No. 1, Block VII., Waikouaiti Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 3,802 acres;
also all that area in the said provincial district, being
Section No. 10, Block VIII., Waikouaiti Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 1,150 acres;
and also all that area in the said provincial district,
being Section No. 2, Block X., Waikouaiti Survey
District, containing by admeasurement 2,490 acres:
as the same is delineated on the plans deposited in
the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Certain Lands classed as Agricultural Lands.

General Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 16th April, 1879.

IT is hereby notified that the Commissioners
appointed in pursuance of the seventy-fifth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," have reported
to His Excellency the Governor that the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be classified
as agricultural land, and that the Governor has
determined the same to be agricultural land.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area within Run No. 51, Waipori Survey
District, in the Provincial District of Otago, con-
taining by admeasurement 3,700 acres, more or less.
Bounded on the North by Pioneer Creek; on the East
by the Waipori River; on the South by a line joining
the Waipori River with Trig. C, Waipori District,
on a bearing of 60°; thence by a line joining Trigs. C
and B and CC; and on the West by a line from
Trigs. CC on a bearing of 38° to the starting point
on Pioneer Creek: as the same is delineated on the
record map in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Depasturing Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Governor, in pursuance of the tenth section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," has determined the depas-
turing lease under which the land as described in
the Schedule hereto is held.

containing by admeasurement 4,177 acres, more or
less, being part of Run No. 369, Block XIV., Benger
Survey District. Bounded towards the North by
Block X., Teviot District; towards the East by the
main road; towards the South by pre-emptive rights
A and C, Run No. 369, by Blocks I. and IV., Benger
Survey District, and by Run No. 215; and towards
the West by Run No. 368 and the Benger Common-
age: as the same is delineated on the plan deposited
in the Survey Office, Dunedin.

Gold-Mining Lease cancelled.

IT is hereby notified that His Excellency the
Administrator of the Government has been
pleased to pronounce the under-mentioned gold-
mining lease in the Otago Gold Fields cancelled,
and that the ground is now open for application as if
no lease of the said ground had ever been applied
for:-
Richard Spratt; Section 5, Block XI., Shot-
over, Queenstown Mining District.

IN compliance with the provisions of the thirteenth
section of "The Regulation of Elections Act,
1870," I hereby notify that John Cathcart Wason,
Esq., has resigned his seat in the House of Repre-
sentatives for the Electoral District of Coleridge,
and that his letter of resignation was received by me
on the fourteenth day of April, 1879; and that the
said seat is vacant by reason of such resignation.
