5540 links, and 328 links, and by the sea; towards
the North-west by the Pakautukua Block 315 links,

I have been or may be from time to time set apart
for the purposes of secondary education, the
Governor may set apart an area the capital value
whereof shall not exceed three thousand pounds:
Now, therefore, I, Hercules George Robert Robin-
son, Administrator of the Government of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the said recited Act, and
of every other power and authority me thereunto
enabling, do hereby reserve and set apart the several
parcels of land described in the Schedule hereto for
the purposes of secondary education within the
Education District of Wellington.

---SCHEDULE.
ALL those parcels of land containing 2,973 acres 3
roods and 12 perches, more or less, situate within the
Provincial District of Wellington, and being Sections
Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8A, 9, 10, and 11, of Block II. ;
Sections Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22,
and 26, Block VI.; Sections Nos. 11, 13, 14, 15, 16,
18, 19, 28, 29, Block XI.; and Section No. 44, Block
VII., Mangaone Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

W HEREAS by "The Wellington College Acts
Amendment Act, 1878," section eight, it is
enacted that, out of the waste lands of the Crown
within the Education District of Wellington which |

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the fifty-third section of "The
Land Act, 1877," is enacted that the
Governor, by Proclamation in the Gazette, may from
time to time set apart out of any suburban or rural
lands such blocks or allotments of land as he shall
think fit, and set the same aside for sale on deferred
payments, and in such Proclamation may fix a day
on which the land shall be open for application; and
that he may also in like manner set apart for sale on
deferred payments such blocks or allotments as may
be recommended by any Land Board, and may also
from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such
Proclamation:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Administrator of the Government of
the Colony of New Zealand, in pursuance and
exercise of the power and authority vested in me by
the above-named Act, do hereby proclaim and declare
that the land described in the Schedule hereto is set
apart for sale on deferred payments; and that Thurs-
day, the fifteenth day of May, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-nine, shall be the day on which
the said land shall be open for application.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Provincial District of Otago,
containing by admeasurement 3,402 acres, being
Sections 7 and 8, Block I., Kurow Survey District;
Sections 4, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 16, and 17, Block II., in the
