A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and autho-
rities enabling me in that behalf, I, James
Prendergast, Administrator of the Government of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and
declare that, by Order in Council made under the
provisions of "The Bank Holidays Act, 1873," of
even date herewith, I have appointed Friday, the
twenty-eighth day of March instant, to be observed
as a bank holiday, under and for the purposes of
the above-mentioned Act, within the Borough of
Wanganui.

OTONGA No. 1.

All that parcel of land in the District of Whan-
garei, in the Provincial District of Auckland, known
by the name of Otonga No. 1, containing by ad-
measurement 26,810 acres, more or less. Bounded
towards the North by the Wairoa River, by the
Whakapara River, by the Kaihikanui Stream, by the
Mataroa Stream, by the Wekaweka Stream, by the
Opuawhango Block No. 1, 1830 links and 546 links;
by the Opuawhango No. 2 Block, 10890 links, 2426

IN pursuance of the powers vested in me by "The
(Canterbury) Dog Nuisance Ordinance, Session
XVII., No. 3," "The (Canterbury) Dog Nuisance
Amendment Ordinance, 1862," and "The Abolition
of Provinces Act, 1875," I, James Prendergast, the
Administrator of the Government of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby appoint the person whose
name appears in the first column of the Schedule
hereto to be the person to register dogs for the
place set opposite his name in the second column of
the said Schedule: And I do further appoint the
place mentioned in the third column of the said
Schedule to be the office at which persons shall
register their dogs.
