Also all that piece or parcel of land situate in the
Borough of East Invercargill, in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Otago, Colony of New Zealand, being a sub-
division of Section two (2), Block one (I.), Inver-
cargill Hundred, known as Barwhey's Estate, con-
taining by admeasurement nineteen decimal two
(19.2) perches, more or less, coloured blue, and
marked "B" on the plan attached to the memorial
referred to: Commencing at the south-west corner
of Robertson's Street, and bounded by a line running
south-east a distance of one thousand one hundred
and ninety-eight decimal seven (1198.7) links to
public road; thence towards the South by public
road, a distance of twenty (20) links; thence towards
the West by Ritchie Street, a distance of twelve
hundred and two (1202) links to the starting point.

Given under the hand of His Excellency
James Prendergast, Esquire, Adminis-
trator of the Government, in and over
Her Majesty's Colony of New Zealand
and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral
of the same; ; and issued under the Seal
of the said Colony, at the Government
House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth
day of February, in the year of our Lord
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of all powers and autho-
rities enabling me in that behalf, I, James
Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim
and declare that, by Order in Council made under
the provisions of "The Bank Holidays Act, 1873,"
of even date herewith, I have appointed Monday,
the thirty-first day of March instant, to be observed
as a bank holiday, under and for the purposes of the

above-mentioned Act, within the Borough of New
Plymouth, and the Counties of Taranaki and Patea.

Given under the hand of His Excellency
James Prendergast, Esquire, Administra-
tor of the Government in and over Her
Majesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the
same; and issued under the Seal of the
Colony, at Wellington, this fourth day of
March, in the year of our Lord one thou--
sand eight hundred and seventy-nine.

Prendergast, the Administrator of the Government
of the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby pro-
claim and declare that, by Order in Council made
under the provisions of "The Bank Holidays Act,
1873," and "The Bank Holidays Amendment Act,
1878," of even date herewith, I have appointed
Thursday, the thirteenth day of March instant,
to be observed as a bank holiday, and Friday, the
fourteenth day of March instant, to be observed as
a bank half-holiday from the hour of noon, under
and for the purposes of the above-mentioned Acts,
within the Borough of Wanganui and the County of
Wanganui.

Given under the hand of His Excellency

Her Majesty's Colony of New Zea-
land and its Dependencies, and Vice-
