N.B.—In computing the charges from the following tables of rates per mile, the
rate over each successive distance specified in the table is to be computed severally,
to make up the charge for the whole distance over which the goods are carried.
Class A.

Flour, Bran, Pollard, &c. " " 2,200 lbs. the ton.
The number of bags and the quantity they contain must be declared upon the
consignment notes. Where bags contain more than 4 bushels the excess will be
