SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, situated in the Maungatua Survey District,
containing by admeasurement ten thousand four
hundred (10,400) acres, more or less, being parts of
Blocks four (IV.), five (V.), and six (VI.), of said
district. Bounded towards the North by Sections
numbered 65, 66, 51, 50, and 48, Block III., of said
district, and Section numbered 54, Block IV., of said
district; towards the East by the Taieri River;
towards the South by the Waipori River and the
Waipori Lake; and towards the West by Sections
numbered 14, 12, 10, 8, 6, 4, and 2, Block II., of said
district; again towards the North by Section num-
bered 42, Block V., of said district; and again
towards the West by the Lee Creek or Canal, and
Section numbered 38, Block III., Taieri West Survey
District: as the same is delineated on the plan
deposited in the Survey Office, Dunedin.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and Baron
Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the County
of York, in the Peerage of the United
Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave of New
Ross, in the County of Wexford, in the
Peerage of Ireland; a Member of Her
Majesty's Most Honorable Privy Coun-
cil; Knight Grand Cross of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael
and Saint George; Governor and Com-
mander-in-Chief in and over Her Ma-
jesty's Colony of New Zealand and its
Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the
same; and issued under the Seal of the
said Colony, at the Government House,
at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of
January, in the year of our Lord one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-
nine.

Trustees under "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-first day of January, 1879.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867" (hereinafter called "the said
Act"), it is enacted that, if any title to or interest in
any hereditaments shall accrue to any Maoris, who
or any of whom shall be infants, lunatics, or under
legal disability, it shall be lawful for the Governor
in Council, if he think fit, to order that such here-
ditaments, or any part thereof or interest therein as
shall to the Governor in Council be shown to belong
to such infant, lunatic, or other person under legal
disability, shall be vested in trustees, as the Governor
in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of a Crown grant bearing
date the thirteenth day of July, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-two, the three parcels of land
and hereditaments described in the Schedule hereto
became vested in Pita Taurua, of the District of
Coromandel, in the Province of Auckland, an
aboriginal native of New Zealand:
And whereas the said Pita Taurua died intestate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Kapanga, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, on the tenth day of January, one thousand
eight hundred and seventy-eight, Wiremu Taurua
claimed to succeed to the said Pita Taurua in the
three parcels of land described in the said Schedule:
And it was ordered by the said Court that Wiremu
Taurua, an infant under the age of twenty-one years,
should succeed to the said Pita Taurua in the here-
ditaments aforesaid:
And it is expedient that Charles Ring and Richard
Coupland be appointed trustees under the said Act,
on behalf of the said Wiremu Taurua:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto shall be and remain vested in
CHARLES RING and
RICHARD COUPLAND,
as Trustees, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Wiremu Taurua during
his minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL those three parcels of land in the Province of
Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing
together by admeasurement one (1) acre and twenty-
two (22) perches, more or less, situate at Coro-
mandel, in the District of Coromandel, being called
or known by the name of Te Karaka No. 2, and
numbered 2284. One piece containing by admeasure-
ment 3 roods and 32 perches; bounded towards the
North-east by the Kahakaharoa No. 2 Block, 745
links; towards the South-east by the Taumatawa-
hine Block, 42 links; towards the South-west by a
road, 55 links, 526 links, and 100 links; and towards
the North-west by the Kahakaharoa Creek. Another
piece containing 10 perches; bounded towards the
North-east by the Kahakaharoa Creek before men-
tioned; and towards the South-west and West by
the said road, 318 links and 48 links respectively
And the other piece containing 20 perches; bounded
towards the South-west and West by the said road
116 links and 82 links respectively; and on all othe
sides by the Whakanakenake Creek.
