SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land situate in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Hawke's Bay, and Colony of New Zealand,
containing by admeasurement four (4) acres and
thirty-four (34) perches, more or less, being portions
of Meanee Suburban Sections Nos. 65, 66, and 67.
Bounded towards the North by Block XLVII., Puke-
tapu District, five hundred and eight (508) links;
towards the North-east by other portions of Sections
Nos. 65, 67, and 66, three thousand seven hundred
and ten (3710) links; towards the East by a public
road, sixty-five (65) links; towards the South by a
public road, seventy-eight (78) links; towards the
South-west by other portions of Sections Nos. 66,
67, and 65, three thousand six hundred and seventy-
three (3673) links; again towards the South by other
portion of Section No. 65, four hundred and eighty-
five (485) links; and towards the West by a public
road, one hundred and three (103) links: the above
particulars being delineated on the map attached to
the memorial referred to.

guished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Governor and Commander-in-
Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,

under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of December, in the year
of our Lord one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-nine.

Districts constituted under "The Marriage Act
Amendment Act, 1858."

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and
authority vested in me by "The Marriage Act
Amendment Act, 1858," I, Sir Hercules George
Robert Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby revoke so much of former
Proclamations duly made and issued in pursuance of
the said power and authority as relate to the Camp-
belltown, Invercargill, Wyndham, and Popotuna
Districts constituted for the purposes of the said
Act, the boundaries whereof were therein set forth,
and do proclaim and declare that the territories
formerly comprised within the said districts shall be
and the same are hereby divided for the purposes of
the said Act into five districts, the names and
boundaries whereof shall be as follow:β
FORTROSE DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Otago, bounded towards the East by a line from
the ocean at Chasland's Mistake to Black Horn Hill;
thence by the summit of the range to Bleak Hill;
thence towards the North by the summit of the
Forest Range and Wyndham Survey District;
towards the West by the Mataura River to Section
No. 25, Block IX., Oteramika Hundred; towards
the North-east by Sections Nos. 25, 24, 23, 22, 21,
20, and 19 of aforesaid block and hundred, to a
point due east of south boundary of Block III.,
Oteramika Hundred aforesaid; thence again towards
the North by a line running due west to Campbell-
town Hundred; thence towards the West by Camp-
belltown Hundred to the ocean; and towards the
South by the ocean to Chasland's Mistake, the
starting point.
CAMPBELLTOWN DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Division
of the Provincial District of Otago, bounded towards
the North by a right line due east from the south-
east branch of the Mokomoko Inlet to Oteramika
Hundred; towards the East by that hundred to the
ocean; towards the South and West by the ocean to
Mokomoko Inlet aforesaid; and by that inlet to its
south-east branch, the starting point.
INVERCARGILL DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Division of
the Provincial District of Otago, bounded towards
the East by the Mataura River to Fortrose District,
hereinbefore described; towards the South and again
towards the East by that district; again towards the
south by the Campbelltown District, hereinbefore
described; towards the West by the sea to the
Waimatuku River; thence by that river to the
south boundary of the Oreti Hundred; again
towards the North by the Oreti and Winton Hun-
dreds; again towards the West by the Winton
Hundred aforesaid to the Otapiri Stream; again
towards the North by that stream to its junction
with the Makarewa River; thence by that river and
the Lindhurst Stream to its eastern source; thence
by a right line to the western corner of the Mataura
Hundred; thence by the Lindhurst Hundred to the
Mataura River.
WYNDHAM DISTRICT.
All that parcel of land in the Southland Division of
the Provincial District of Otago, bounded towards
the North by the Mimihau Stream and Run No. 132;
towards the East by Run No. 162; towards the
South by Fortrose District, hereinbefore described;
and towards the West by the Mataura River to
the Mimihau Stream, the starting point.
POPOTUNA DISTRICT.
Commencing at a point on a bend of the Pukerau
Stream due west of the junction of the Waipahi
Stream with the Pomahaka River. Bounded towards
the North by a right line; from thence due East to
the aforesaid junction; towards the West by the
Tapanui Ranges to the summit; again towards the
North by a right line due east to a point 20 chains
west of the Clutha River; towards the East by a line
parallel to the Clutha River to a point opposite
Crookburn; thence due East to the Clutha River;
thence by that river to West Clutha Hundred;
thence by that hundred and Catlin's Hundred to the
sea; towards the South by the sea to Chasland's
Mistake; again towards the West by Fortrose and
Wyndham Districts, hereinbefore described, and by
Runs Nos. 132 and 131, to the starting point on the
Pukerau Stream.
And I hereby declare that this Proclamation
shall come into operation and take effect on the
thirty-first day of December, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine.
