WAIKOUAITI COUNTY COUNCIL.
I N accordance with section 88 of "The Public
Works Act, 1876," I hereby proclaim the follow-
ing road to be a County Road :-
The road leading from the Main North Road at
the tenth mile-post, and adjoining the Port Chalmers
and Blueskin Road at Section 49, Block I., North
Harbour and Blueskin District.

OXFORD ROAD BOARD.
N OTICE is hereby given that the Oxford Road
Board propose taking, for the purpose of a
road, all that parcel of land being part of the Rural
Section No. 201 on the Government map of the
Oxford District, commencing at a point on the
northern boundary of the said section, the said
point being distant twelve chains and fifty-three links
from the north-western. corner thereof; thence run-
ning easterly along the said northern boundary a
distance of six chains; thence south-westerly, at an
angle of 18° 35', a distance of three chains sixty-seven
links and four-fifths of a link; and thence north- 759
westerly in a straight line to the commencing point.
A plan showing the said lands has been deposited
at the office of the Oxford Road Board. All persons
affected are requested to set forth in writing any
well-grounded objections to the making of the said
road or to the taking of such land, and to send such
writing on or before the fifteenth day of January,
one thousand eight hundred and eighty, to the said
Road Board.

HEATHCOTE ROAD BOARD.
N OTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under
the provisions of "The Public Works Act,
1876," and "The Public Works Act Amendment
Act, 1878," to execute a certain work, to wit, the con-
struction of a road in the Road District of Heath-
cote, and for the purposes of such public works the
land described in the Schedule hereto is required to
be taken. And notice is further given that the plan
of the land so required to be taken is deposited at the
Road Board Office, Ferry Road, County of Selwyn,
in the Provincial District of Canterbury, and is there
open for inspection between the hours of 9 a.m. and
5 p.m. And notice is hereby given that all persons
affected by the execution of the said public work or
by the taking of the said land, shall, if they have any
well-grounded objections to the execution of the said
work or to the taking of the said land, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing within forty
days from the first publication of this notice to the
Chairman of the Heathcote Road Board, Ferry Road.

THE SCHEDULE ABOVE REFERRED TO.
ALL that piece of land, being a portion of Rural
Section 1314 at Hillsborough, in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Canterbury, the property of and in the
occupation of Messrs. Richard May Morten and
William White, commencing at a point on the
northern boundary of the section distant 899.4 links
from its north-west corner and 1396.4 links from the
south-west corner of Rural Section 104; thence
running south-easterly at an angle of 95° 13' 30" for
1300 links; thence south-westerly at an angle
of 164° 59' 30", 398.5 links, to a point on the
southern boundary of the section distant 950.5 links 752

from its south-west corner; thence westward along
the southern boundary, 101.3 links; thence north-
easterly at an angle of 99° 8', 398.8 links; thence
north-westerly at an angle of 164° 59′ 30″, 1296
links, to a point on the northern boundary distant
799 links from its north-west corner and 1296 links
from the south-west corner of Rural Section 104; and
thence eastward along the northern boundary, 100.4
links, to the starting point: containing by admeasure-
ment 1 acre 2 roods and 32 perches.

you, in one month from the date hereof, for registra-
tion under the New Zealand Medical Practitioners
Registration Act, having in the meantime deposited
my registration certificate of Great Britain for in-

A T an extraordinary general meeting of Share-
holders of the Bonanza Gold-Mining Com-
pany (Limited), held at the office of the Company
on the 19th November, 1879, the following resolu-
tions have been passed:-
"1. That the Bonanza Gold-Mining Company
(Limited) be wound up voluntarily, and that a
Liquidator be appointed.
"2. That Mr. Moriz Samuel Leers, of Auckland,
Accountant, be appointed Liquidator."
