NOTICE is hereby given that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under
the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870,"
unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within
one calendar month after the date of the Gazette
containing this notice.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Naseby of the Mount
Ida Mining District, and all other persons whom
it may concern.
TAKE notice that it is intended to construct a
Dam and Water-race for the storage and diver-
sion of water, said dam to be constructed in Sloane's
Gully, Blackstone Hill, for domestic, irrigation, and
machinery purposes, about one and a half chains below
Robert Johnstone's Water-race, intersecting the
gully.
Length of dam, 1 chain; greatest height, 16
feet; greatest breadth, 24 feet; area, about one-
fourth acre. Said water-race to commence at dam
as above, and terminating on Section 13, Block III.,
Blackstone District. Length, about 4 chains;
breadth, 2 feet; depth, 8 inches; and the quantity
of water it is proposed to divert, one-fourth head.
Time required for construction, two months.

NOTICE OF INTENTION TO CONSTRUCT A WATER-
RACE.
To the Mining Registrar at Naseby of the Mount
Ida Mining District, and all other persons whom
it may concern.
WE hereby give notice that we intend to con-
struct a Water-race and divert water for irri-
gation and domestic purposes, commencing at a point
in Coal-pit Gully, abreast of the coal-pit, and terminat-
ing at residence area, Cambrian. Number of certificate,
3783. Length of such race is half a mile or there-
abouts; breadth and depth, 15 inches by 6 inches;
and it is proposed to divert half a Government-head
of water.

hitherto existing between the undersigned
JOHN SUTHERLAND, THOMAS KENNEDY NEWTON, and
FREDERICK WILLIAM NEWTON, carrying on business
as Sheepfarmers at Mohaka, in the Provincial
District of Hawke's Bay, has this day been dissolved
by mutual consent so far as the said Thomas Kennedy
Newton is concerned. The business will in future
be carried on by the said John Sutherland and
Frederick William Newton, by whom all liabilities
will be paid.
