NOTICE is hereby given that a cheese-shaped buoy,
surmounted by a staff and ball painted black, has
been moored off Glen Point in 16 feet of water, at
low water, on the following bearings from the buoy,
viz. :-
Glen Point, N. 64° 40′ W., and south end of
Penguin Island, S. 36° W.
Masters of vessels bound to the anchorage at
Beachport should leave the buoy on the port hand at
a distance of two cables' length.

to be a Member of the Napier Harbour Board, the
Wairoa County Council having failed to elect a
Member of this Board on the second Monday in
February last.

An oval paper label, measuring nearly 3 by 3
inches, on which is depicted in the centre a white
bull-dog, with a collar and ring round the neck, on a
black ground, with the words "Robt. Porter and
Co." in written characters printed in black across the
breast and along the body of the dog, and having
around the centre a -inch band of blue, on which
are printed in letters of various sizes the words
"Trade Mark, Robert Porter and Co., Export
Bottlers, King's Cross, London."
Nature of the Articles to which it is intended such
Trade Mark shall apply.
- Guinness's Extra Stout, bottled by Robert
Porter and Co., of King's Cross, London, in glass
bottles, usually called quarts and pints. - Pale Ale, brewed by Bass and Co., of Burton-
