Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers
and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do
hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the
Provincial District of Canterbury described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the
said Schedule specified.
George Robert Robinson, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several per-
sons whose names are specified in the first column of
the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to provide for the
maintenance and care of the public cemetery specified
in the second column of the said Schedule.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Township of Waimate, containing
17 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, com-
mencing at a point on the north-west side of Queen
Street 980 links south-west of the southernmost
corner of Rural Section No. 997; thence south-
westerly along Queen Street, 1350 links; and extend-
ing north-westerly, 1310 links, in a rectangular block:
and numbered 2428 (in red) on the official map of
the Town of Waimate, in the Survey Office, Christ-
church. For a recreation-ground.

Ordinance of the Legislative Council, Session XI., No. 15, do, with respect to the claim specified in
the first column of the Schedule hereto, report to the effect set forth in the second column of such
Schedule.
