Trustees appointed for Maintenance of Mandeville
Cemetery.

HERCULES ROBINSON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and au-
thorities vested in me by the second section of
"The Cemeteries Management Act, 1877," I, Sir
Hercules George Robert Robinson, the Governor of
the Colony of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the
several persons whose names are specified in the first
column of the Schedule hereto to be Trustees to
provide for the maintenance and care of the public
cemetery specified in the second column of the said
Schedule.

tember, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-nine.

Land temporarily reserved in the Provincial District
of Hawke's Bay.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which, in his opinion, are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, Sir Hercules George Robert
Robinson, the Governor of the Colony of New Zea-
land, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby
temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Pro-
vincial District of Hawke's Bay described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in the
said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land situate in the Provincial
District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admeasure-
ment 117 acres 21 perches, more or less, being Section
No. 1, Block V., Takapau Survey District. Bounded
towards the North-east by the Kahututaiatua Stream,
by the Te Whiti Native Reserve, 1228 links, and by a
creek; towards the South-east by a public road, 410
links and 1517 links; towards the South-west and
South by a road reserve, 356 links and 989 links
respectively; again towards the South-west by
Section No. 2, 3030 links; and towards the North-
west by Norsewood Suburban Section No. 89, and
by a public road, 3865 links: as the same is delineated
on the plan deposited in the Survey Office, Napier.
As an endowment for primary education.

Also all that parcel of land situate in the Provin-

cial District of Hawke's Bay, containing by admea-
surement 41 acres 1 rood 23 perches, more or
less, being Section No. 7, Block VI., Takapau Survey
District. Bounded towards the North-east by a
public road, 2593 links; towards the South-east by a
public road, 1416 links, and by the Railway Reserve,
1418 links; towards the South-west by the Manga-
rangiora Creek; and towards the North-west by
Section No. 8, 3159 links: as the same is delineated
on the plan deposited in the Survey Office, Napier.
As an endowment for primary education.

tember, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-nine.

Provincial District of Canterbury, containing 10
acres, more or less. Bounded North-westward by
the Little River Road, 11 chains; North-eastward
by Crown lands, 10 chains; South-eastward by Crown
lands, 8 chains; and South-westward by the Little
River Railway Reserve: and numbered 2426 (in red)
on the official map in the Survey Office, Christ-
church. For a gravel pit.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this twentieth day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-nine.
