SCHEDULE.
Description of Land Reserved.
All that area in the Christchurch Survey
District, Provincial District of Canterbury,
containing 15 acres, more or less. Bounded
North-westward by Section 6407, 1299
links; South-eastward by Shand's Road,
1299 links; North-eastward by Reserve 219
(in red), 1155 links; and South-westward
by Section 6407, 1155 links and numbered
2420 (in red) on the official map in the Sur-
vey Office, Christchurch.

Vesting a Reserve.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
sixteenth day of September, 1879.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule
hereto was acquired by purchase and con-
veyed to His Honor the Superintendent of the
Province of Wellington on the thirty-first day of
August, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-
five, by certificate of title, volume five, folio two
hundred and eighty-three: And whereas, in the
opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to vest the
said land, together with the buildings erected thereon,
in the corporation of the Borough of Masterton:
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in the
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the sixth section of "The Public Reserves Act
Amendment Act, 1878," doth hereby declare that,
from and after the first day of September, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, the said
reserve shall become vested in the Mayor, Coun-
cillors, and Burgesses of the said Borough of Mas-
terton, for such purposes as are defined in Part I. of
the Schedule to the said Act as the said Borough
Council may determine.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece of land situated in the Small Farm
Settlement of Masterton, Wairarapa District, in the
Provincial District of Wellington, containing 1 acre
2 roods 1 perches, more or less, being portions
of Sections Nos. 55 and 56 on the plan of the same
settlement: Commencing at a point on the boundary
line between Sections 56 and 57, distant 2847-6
links from a public road intersecting Section 56;
thence along the said boundary line in an easterly
direction, 240 links; thence south, 143° 8' east, 141
links; thence south, 174° 1' east, 231 links; thence
south, 191° 40' west, 311 links; thence south, 35° 18'
west, 130 links, along the public road to Masterton;
thence north, 344° 14' west, 756 links, along the
eastern boundary of the piece of land over which the
right of road hereinafter mentioned is given, to the
point of commencement: together with a right-of-
way 50 links wide running along the western
boundary.

April, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five,
by Transfer number four hundred :
And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it
is expedient to vest the said land, together with the
buildings thereon, in the Corporation of the Borough
of Greytown:
Now, therefore, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of
the Executive Council of the said colony, and in the
exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the sixth section of "The Public Reserves Act
Amendment Act, 1878," doth hereby declare that,
from and after the first day of September, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-nine, the said
reserve shall become vested in the Mayor, Coun-
cillors, and Burgesses of the said Borough of
Greytown, for such purposes as are defined in Part I.
of the Schedule to the said Act, as the said Borough
Council may determine.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that piece or parcel of land, containing 1 acre 2
roods and 28 perches or thereabouts, situated in and
being part of Section No. 8 on the plan of the Small
Farm Settlement of Greytown, in the Wairarapa Dis-
trict, Provincial District of Wellington, and being the
Allotments Nos. 6 and 7 respectively on the plan of
the said section, subdivided into allotments. Bounded
towards the South-west by Allotment No. 5, 420
links; towards the North-west by Allotments Nos.
4 and 45 respectively, 400 links; towards the North-
east by Allotment No. 8, 420 links; and towards the
South-east by a public road, 50 links wide, known as
West Street, 400 links, being the south-eastern
boundary of the said section, the south-western
boundary of the said Allotment No. 6 being parallel
with and distant 200 links from the south-western
boundary of the said section.
