Warrant altering Fees to be paid for Survey of
Steamers.

NORMANBY, Governor.

WHEREAS by the seventh section of "The Steam
Navigation Act, 1866," it is enacted that the
Governor shall have power to alter, increase, or
diminish the amount of fees to be paid for the survey
of steamers:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, do hereby order that, from and after
the first day of September next, in lieu of the fees
now payable for the half-yearly survey of steamers of
the tonnage specified in the Schedule hereto, the fees
specified in such Schedule shall be paid for the half-
yearly survey of steamers.

Slaughterhouses Act, 1877."

to be the Resident Magistrate who, acting together
with any two Justices of the Peace, shall be charged
with the administration of "The Slaughterhouses
Act, 1877," within that portion of the County of
Marlborough lying to the north of the River Wairau.

"The Public Health Act, 1876," His Excellency
the Governor has been pleased to appoint the under-
mentioned gentlemen to be Public Vaccinators, to
perform gratuitous vaccination in accordance with
the provisions of the said Act, and any regulations
made or to be made thereunder, for the districts
mentioned in the Schedule hereto, and set opposite
their names respectively.
