SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
William Henry Udy. HAMILTON (OTAGO) CEMETERY.
John Jory. All that parcel of land in the Provincial
James Howell. District of Otago, in the Colony of
Thomas Harle Giles. New Zealand, situate in the Town of
James Henry Hamilton, containing by admeasure-
McAlpine. ment five (5) acres, more or less, and
marked "Cemetery Reserve" on the
map of the said town. Bounded to-
wards the North-west by Crown lands,
five hundred (500) links; towards the
North-east by Crown lands, one thou-
sand (1000) links; towards the South-
east by Crown lands, five hundred
(500) links; and towards the South-
west by Crown lands, one thousand
(1000) links. As a site for a public
cemetery.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this sixteenth day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-eight.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and forty-fourth
section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony
of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the
powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act,
do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in
the Provincial District of Wellington described in
the Schedule hereunder written, for the purpose in
the said Schedule specified.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Wellington, containing by admeasurement thirty-
four (34) acres and thirty-two (32) perches, more or
less, on the plan of the Township of Featherston.
Bounded towards the North by Section No. 66, one
thousand two hundred (1200) links; towards the
East by Sections Nos. 31, 32, 33, 34, 35, 53, 54, 55,
56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61, and 62, and abutments of public
roads, four thousand (4000) links; towards the
South by Section No. 7 and by the abutment of a
public road, six hundred (600) links; and towards
the West by Sections Nos. 464 and 516, three thou-
sand four hundred (3400) links. For recreation
purposes.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the
Governor, this eighteenth day of Sep-
tember, one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-eight.

nine hundred and forty-nine and six-tenths (1949.6)
links; and towards the West by Section numbered 24,
that the Governor may from time to time, either by
general or particular description, and whether the
same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale
temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be
then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands
which in his opinion are required for any of the
purposes in the said section mentioned:

do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in

containing by admeasurement one hundred and ninety
(190) acres two (2) roods and thirty-one (31) poles,
more or less, situate in the Glenkenich District, being
Section numbered twenty-four (24), Block nine (IX.),
on the map of the said district. Bounded towards
the North by Sections numbered 23 and 25 of said
Block IX., seven thousand four hundred and six and
four-tenths (7406.4) links; towards the West by
parts of Sections numbered 26 and 28 of said Block
IX., two thousand seven hundred and fourteen and
four-tenths (2714.4) links; towards the South by
Section numbered 33 of said Block IX., six thousand
and eighty-nine (6089) links; towards the South-
east by a road line, one thousand eight hundred and
sixty-seven and five-tenths (1867.5) links; and to-
wards the East by Section numbered 43 of said Block
IX., one thousand five hundred and twenty-nine
(1529) links. As an endowment for primary edu-
cation.
