Crown Grants.

Crown Lands Office,
Wellington, 10th January, 1878.

THE under-mentioned Deeds of Grant, having been
duly executed, are now ready for delivery at this
office, under the authority of "The Crown Grants
Act, 1866," and "The Crown Grants Amendment
Act, 1867."

A fee of sixpence is chargeable on each Crown
Grant for every month during which it shall remain
in this office after the expiration of three months
from the date of this notice.

In cases where it is impossible for the party en-
titled to receive the Grant to attend in person, it
will be delivered to the bearer of an authority accord-
ing to the subjoined form, certified by a Magistrate
or by a Solicitor of the Supreme Court.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that ARTHUR SCOUL-
LAR, of Dunedin, in the Provincial District of
Otago, Furniture Importer, and DAVID FERGU-
SON, of the same place, Cabinetmaker, claiming as
Devisees under the Will of HUGH MCLEOD, late of
Melrose, near Dunedin aforesaid, Tailor, deceased,
have made application to the District Land Registrar
of the District of Otago, to be registered as Pro-
prietors of Allotment No. 4, on the plan of the said
Township of Melrose; and that the said Arthur
Scoullar and David Ferguson will be so registered
as such proprietors unless caveat be lodged at this
office within one month from the date of the publica-
tion of this notice.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with
me of the loss of the Crown Grant to JOSE
DA SILVA, late of Moa Flat, Miner, deceased, of
Section 10, Block IV., on the map of the Town of
Ettrick, in the Provincial District of Otago, bearing
date the sixth day of November, 1872, and entered
in the Register Book of the said District, Volume
vi., folio 31: I hereby give notice that I intend to
issue a provisional certificate of title to the said
section in the name of the said Jose Da Silva, unless
caveat be lodged within fourteen days from the day
of the publication hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that ALEXANDER
SHEPHERD, of Havelock, Hawke's Bay,
Presbyterian Minister, claiming as Remainderman
upon the death of ELIZABETH MARY SPIERS SHEP-
HERD, his Wife, has applied to be registered as Pro-
prietor in fee-simple of Suburban Sections Nos. 10
and 11, Township of Havelock aforesaid, containing
83 acres 1 rood 34 perches, more or less; and that
he will be so registered unless caveat forbidding the
same be lodged at this office within one calendar
month after date of the Gazette containing this
notice.
