LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several parcels
of land hereinafter described will be brought
under the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act,
1870," unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same
within one calendar month from the date of pub-
lication hereof in the Gazette.

ARCHIBALD WILLIAM HENDERSON.-
Rural Allotment No. 287 (50 acres), and Rural
Allotments No. 305, 306, and 316 (150 acres 2 roods
24 perches), Patea District. In occupation of Henry
Flockhart Christie.

Diagrams may be inspected at this office.

LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that MARY ANN
SMITH, of Rangiora, Widow, claiming under
the Will of ADAM SMITH, late of West Eyreton,
Farmer, deceased, has applied to be registered as
Tenant-in-fee during her life and widowhood of 150
acres 3 roods 11 perches, part of Rural Section
10035, Oxford District; and that she will be so
registered, unless caveat forbidding the same be
lodged within one month after the date of the
Gazette containing this notice.

NOTICE is hereby given that JANE THERESA
MCBRIDE, of Queenstown, Widow, has applied,
as Administratrix of the estate of JOHN MCBRIDE,
late of Queenstown aforesaid, deceased, to be regis-
tered as Proprietor of 1 acre 1 rood 6 poles, being
Sections 1, 18, Block II., 12, 13, 23, Block V., 6B,
7, 16, Block XIV., and 1 and 2, Block XI., Town of
Kingston; and that she will be so registered, unless
caveat forbidding the same be lodged at this office
within one month from the date of the gazetting
of this notice.

WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with
me, made by RICHARD CAMPBELL SHAW,
the registered Proprietor of Allotments numbered
respectively 8 and 9 on the plan of the Township of
Youngtown, in the District of Otago, of the loss of
the Certificate of Title to the said allotments, bearing
date the 2nd day of April, 1874, and entered in the
Register Book of the said district, Volume xii.,
folio 102: I hereby give notice that I intend to issue
a Provisional Certificate of Title to the said Richard
Campbell Shaw, unless caveat be lodged forbidding
same within fourteen days from the date of the publi-
cation hereof.

WHEREAS a declaration has been lodged with
me, made by ALEXANDER CARSON, the
registered Proprietor of Sections numbered re-
spectively 9 and 10, Block XVII., on the map of the
Town of Greytown, in the District of Otago, of the
loss of the Certificate of Title to the said sections,
bearing date the 5th day of June, 1876, and entered
in the Register Book of the said district, Volume
xxvi., folio 218: I hereby give notice that I intend
to issue a Provisional Certificate of Title to the said
sections to the said Alexander Carson, unless caveat
be lodged forbidding same within fourteen days from
the publication hereof.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Municipal
Corporation of the City of Wellington, having
determined to construct certain works connected
with the drainage of the city upon land forming parts
of the Sections numbered respectively 5, 7, and 8,
Evans's Bay District, and of 12, 13, and 14, Watts's
Peninsula District, have caused a survey to be made of
the land required to be taken by them for the purposes
of the said works, and plans to be prepared showing
generally the nature of the works proposed to be
executed thereon, and showing also the names of the
owners and occupiers of the said land so far as the
same could be ascertained; and have caused copies of
such plans respectively to be deposited at the Patent
Slip Office, Evans's Bay, in the Karori-Makara Road
District, being the road district in which the said
land is situated.

And notice is hereby further given that the land
so required to be taken as aforesaid contains three
hundred and sixty-four acres, little more or less; and
commences at the south-western corner of Section
No. 8, and extends therefrom easterly along the
foreshore of Lyall's Bay to a point at the south-
eastern corner of Section No. 14, where the same
adjoins a public road there, and extends from such
last-mentioned point north-easterly along the west-
ern side of the said road, on a bearing 34° 27', to
the apex of an angle formed by the junction of the
western boundary of the said road with the southern
boundary of another road extending westerly there-
from, and extending from the apex of the said angle
along the said road, in the first place, on a bearing
254° 55', 1014-3 links, and next on a bearing 290°
28', 1804-3 links, to the western end of the said road,
and extending thence 1046 links by a diagonal line
across the said road to the western extremity of the
