At the Government House, at Wellington, this
twenty-third day of July, 1878.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and autho-
rity vested in him by the three hundred and
fiftieth section of "The Municipal Corporations Act,
1876," and upon the request of the Borough of
Rangiora, His Excellency the Governor, by and with
the advice and consent of the Executive Council of
the Colony of New Zealand, doth hereby order that
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be
and the same is hereby reserved out of the waste
lands of the Provincial District of Canterbury, for
the purpose of granting the same to the Corporation
of the Borough of Rangiora.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Canterbury, containing by admeasurement eight
hundred (800) acres, more or less, being part of
Rural Section numbered thirty thousand four hun-
dred and ninety-three (30493). Bounded towards
the North-west by the other part of said section, 126
chains; towards the North-east by Crown lands, 41
chains; towards the South-east by Sections num-
bered 28965, 28966, and 30380; and towards the
South-west by a road line, 94 chains: be all the
aforesaid distances more or less.

lands of the Provincial District of Canterbury, for
the purpose of granting the same to the Corporation
of the Borough of Sydenham.

Canterbury, containing by admeasurement eight
hundred and fifty-five (855) acres, more or less,
being part of Rural Section numbered thirty thou-
sand four hundred and ninety-three (30493).
Bounded towards the North-west by a road line,
126 chains; towards the North-east by Crown lands,
71 chains; towards the South-east by the other part
of said section, 126 chains; towards the South-west
by a road line, 71 chains: be all the aforesaid dis-
tances more or less.

Crookston Survey District. Bounded towards the
North by Sections numbered 18 and 19, Block XVII.,
Crookston Survey District, and Sections numbered
48 and 44, Block IV., said district; towards the
East by Section numbered 7, and a road line in Block
XVI. aforesaid; towards the South by Sections
numbered 10 and 11, said block; and towards the
West by Sections numbered 12, 11, 10, and 9, Block
XIII., Crookston Survey District aforesaid.
