THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

  1. The place of operations is at Punga Flat, Thames
    Gold Field, in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the
    Colony of New Zealand.
  2. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Albert and Davy Streets, Grahamstown, in the Provincial Dis-
    trict of Auckland and Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The nominal capital of the Company is fifteen thousand
    pounds sterling, in fifteen thousand shares of one pound each.
  4. The number of shares subscribed for is fifteen thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the Company.
  5. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  6. The amount already paid up is nil.
  7. The name of the Manager is Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell.
  8. The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,
    are as follow:-

(II.) To purchase, lease, work on shares, or take on
tribute any lands at or near the said Thames Gold
Fields, for the purpose of carrying on mining opera-
tions within or thereunder.
(III.) To purchase, erect, work, hire, or let machinery of
all kinds connected with the working of mines and
the rendering the ore therefrom available.
(IV.) To let, sell, dispose of, or deal with all or any pro-
perty of the Company, as the Company may think
fit.
(V.) And generally to do all such other things as may be
deemed advisable, in order to turn the Company's
property to profitable account.

  1. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Shortland Street, Auckland, in the Provincial District of
    Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  2. The liability of the Company is limited.
  3. The capital of the Company is seven thousand pounds,
    divided into seven thousand shares of one pound each; but it
    shall be lawful for the Company to issue any such shares, as
    fully or partly paid up, in payment or in part payment of any
    purchase made by the Company as aforesaid, as may be deemed
    advisable.
  4. The number of shares subscribed for is seven thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the Company.
  5. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  6. The amount already paid up is nil.
  7. The name of the Manager is Francis Angus White.
  8. The names and addresses and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,

register the Rowe's Caledonian Tribute and
Gold - Mining Company (Limited) as a Limited
Company, under the provisions of "The Mining
Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be Rowe's Caledonian
    Tribute and Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The objects for which the Company is to be established
    are,—
    (I.) To carry on mining operations of any kind what-
    soever, upon, within, or under any lands situate on
    the Thames Gold Fields, in the Provincial District
    of Auckland.

  2. The place of operations is at Queen Charlotte Sound, in
    the Provincial District of Marlborough, in the Colony of New
    Zealand.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Customhouse Quay, Wellington.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is ten thousand
    pounds, in ten thousand shares of one pound each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is ten thousand,
    being the entire number of shares in the Company.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is two thousand five
    hundred.
