Boundaries of Borough of Roslyn extended.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by "The Municipal Corporations Act,
1876," the Governor, amongst other things,
may at any time, as provided by the said Act, by
Proclamation, incorporate into a borough any district
adjacent thereto, and may alter the boundaries of a
borough so as to include any land which ought
reasonably to be included within the borough: And
whereas it is expedient to incorporate and include
within the boundaries of the Borough of Roslyn the
land described in the First Schedule hereto:

Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine,
Marquis of Normanby, Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, in pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby
proclaim and declare that the boundaries of the said
borough are hereby altered so as to include within
the limits of the said borough the land described in
the First Schedule hereto, certain portions of which
shall be added to the Waverley Ward, the Linden
Ward, and the Sunnyside Ward of the said borough;
and that the said borough shall henceforth be
bounded as specified in the Second Schedule hereto;
and the boundaries of the several wards in the said
borough shall be those set forth in the Third
Schedule hereto.

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area situate in the Provincial District of
Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, bounded by a
line proceeding from the most northern corner of Sec-
tion 86, Block VI.; Town Survey District, to and along
the southern boundaries of Section numbered seven
(7), Block V., Lower Kaikorai Survey District, and
Section numbered one hundred and twenty-two (122),
Waikari Survey District; thence along the southern,
western, and northern boundaries of the said Wai-
kari Survey District to Section numbered fifty-three
(53) of Waikari Survey District aforesaid; thence
along the north-eastern boundary of Sections num-
bered fifty-one (51), ten (10), and one hundred and
four (104), Waikari Survey District aforesaid;
thence along the north-western boundary of Section

numbered nineteen (19), and along the north-eastern
boundary of said Section numbered nineteen (19),
and Sections numbered seventeen (17), fifteen (15),
thirteen (13), eleven (11), nine (9), seven (7), five
(5), and one (1), Block III., Upper Kaikorai Survey
District; thence westerly along the southern boun-
dary of said Section numbered one (1) to a point
opposite to Section numbered seven (7), Block I.,
said Upper Kaikorai Survey District; thence to and
by the north-eastern boundary of said Section num-
bered seven (7) to the Town Belt of Dunedin;
thence in a south-westerly direction along the said
Town Belt of Dunedin to the Borough of Roslyn;
thence along the north-eastern and north-western
boundaries of said Borough of Roslyn to the starting
point.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

ALL that area of land in the Provincial District of
Otago, in the Colony of New Zealand, bounded by
a line proceeding from the northernmost corner of
Section numbered eighty-six (86), Block VI., Town
Survey District, across Block IX., Dunedin and East
Taieri Survey District, to the north-eastern corner of
Section numbered eight (8), Block V., Lower Kai-
korai Survey District; thence by that section, a road,
and Section numbered one hundred and twenty-three
(123), Waikari Survey District, to the boundary of
that district; thence along the southern, western,
and northern boundaries of the said Waikari Survey
District to Section numbered fifty-three (53) of said
district; thence along the north-eastern boundary
of Sections numbered fifty-one (51), ten (10), and
one hundred and four (104), of Waikari Survey
District aforesaid; thence along the north-western
boundary of Section numbered nineteen (19), and
along the north-eastern boundary of said Section
numbered nineteen (19), and Sections numbered
seventeen (17), fifteen (15), thirteen (13), eleven
(11), nine (9), seven (7), five (5), and one (1),
Block III., Upper Kaikorai Survey District; thence
westerly along the southern boundary of said Section
numbered one (1) to a point opposite Section
numbered seven (7), Block I., said Upper Kaikorai
Survey District; thence to and by the north-eastern
boundary of said Section numbered seven (7) to the
