Act"), it is enacted that, if any title to or interest in
any hereditaments shall accrue to any Maoris, who
or any of whom shall be infants, lunatics, or under
legal disability, it shall be lawful for the Governor in
Council, if he think fit, to order that such heredita-
ments or any part thereof or interest therein as
shall to the Governor in Council be shown to belong
to such infant, or lunatic, or other person under legal
disability, shall be vested in trustees, as the Governor
in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by virtue of an order bearing date
the eighth day of August, one thousand eight hun-
dred and seventy-two, in the matter of the Hara-
taunga Block of land, situate at Coromandel, and
described in the Schedule hereto, it was ordered
that the names of Aporo Hikitapua and others, of
the District of Hauraki, in the Provincial District of
Auckland, aboriginal natives of New Zealand, be
registered under the seventeenth section of "The
Native Lands Act, 1867:"
And whereas the said Aporo Hikitapua died in-
testate:
And whereas at a sitting of the Native Land Court
held at Kapanga, in the Provincial District of Auck-
land, on the twenty-third day of February, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight, Paora
Hikitapua claimed to succeed to the said Aporo
Hikitapua in the parcel of land described in the
said Schedule, and it was ordered by the said Court
that Te Wera Hikitapua, Makoare Hikitapua, Tuka-
hua Hikitapua, Te Ngaro Hikitapua, and Tauke
Hikitapua, infants under the age of twenty-one
years, should succeed to the interest aud share of
the said Aporo Hikitapua in the hereditaments
aforesaid; and it is expedient that Mere Ngawaka
be appointed trustee under the said Act, on behalf
of the said Te Wera Hikitapua, Makoare Hikitapua,
Tukahua Hikitapua, Te Ngaro Hikitapua, and Tauke
Hikitapua:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
interests and shares of the said Te Wera Hikitapua,
Makoare Hikitapua, Tukahua Hikitapua, Te Ngaro
Hikitapua, and Tauke Hikitapua in the land de-
scribed in the Schedule hereto shall be and remain
vested in
MERE NGAWAKA
as Trustee, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Te Wera Hikitapua,
Makoare Hikitapua, Tukahua Hikitapua, Te Ngaro
Hikitapua, and Tauke Hikitapua during their
minority.

ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing
by admeasurement eight thousand eight hundred and
ninety-one acres, more or less, situate at Harataunga,
in the District of Hauraki, being called or known by
the name of Harataunga. Bounded towards the
North-east by a line, two thousand one hundred and
fifty (2150) links; towards the East by the Hara-
taunga River; towards the North by the Harataunga
No. 2 Block four hundred and ninety-two (492)
links, one thousand one hundred and thirty-nine
