Fixing First Meeting of Board of Governors of
Otago Boys' and Girls' High Schools.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and exercise of the power and au-
thority vested in me for this purpose by "The
Otago Boys' and Girls' High Schools Act, 1877," I,
George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby,
the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, do here-
by appoint that the first meeting of the Otago Boys'
and Girls' High Schools Board shall be held in the
Boys' High School at Dunedin, on Friday, the
eleventh day of January instant, at four o'clock p.m.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the
Most Honorable George Augustus Con-
stantine, Marquis of Normanby, Earl of
Mulgrave, Viscount Normanby, and
Baron Mulgrave of Mulgrave, all in the
County of York, in the Peerage of the
United Kingdom; and Baron Mulgrave
of New Ross, in the County of Wexford,
in the Peerage of Ireland; a Member of
Her Majesty's Most Honorable Privy
Council; Knight Grand Cross of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and
Saint George; Governor and Commander-
in-Chief in and over Her Majesty's Colony
of New Zealand and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same; and issued
under the Seal of the said Colony, at the
Government House, at Wellington, this
ninth day of January, in the year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and
seventy-eight.

Fixing first Elections of Governors and appointing
Regulations therefor, under "The Auckland College
and Grammar School Act, 1877."
NORMANBY, Governor.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in
me by "The Auckland College and Grammar
School Act, 1877," herein and in the regulations in
the Schedule hereto referred to as "the said Act,"
I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Nor-
manby, Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, by
with the advice and consent of the Executive
Council of the said colony, do hereby appoint the
twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand eight
hundred and seventy-eight, as the day for the first
elections of Governors of the Board of Governors
mentioned in the said Act; and with the like advice
and consent I do order that the regulations speci-
fied in the First Schedule hereto shall be regula-
tions under and subject to which all elections by the
Board of the Education District of Auckland, of
persons to be Governors of the Board of Governors
constituted by or under the said Act, shall be con-
ducted; and that the regulations specified in the
Second Schedule hereto shall be the regulations
under and subject to which all elections by the per-
sons mentioned in subsection two of section three of
the said Act of persons to be Governors of the Board
of Governors under the said Act shall be conducted:
Provided always that the Governor in Council may
from time to time revoke, alter, and amend any of
such regulations.
FIRST SCHEDULE.
REGULATIONS UNDER WHICH THE BOARD OF EDUCA-
TION FOR THE DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND SHALL
ELECT GOVERNORS OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS
CONSTITUTED BY "THE AUCKLAND COLLEGE AND
GRAMMAR SCHOOL ACT, 1877."
- All elections by the Board of Education of the
District of Auckland, of a Governor or Governors of
