Declaring Lands open for Sale within Mining Districts, Westland.

NORMANBY, Governor.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by the one hundred and fifty-fourth section of "The Land Act, 1877," it is enacted that
the Governor, by Proclamation, may from time to time declare any Crown lands within any mining
district, not held under license or lease at the date of such Proclamation, or over which the license or lease
has been cancelled, to be open for sale or selection, in sections of such size and form, and on such date, as
he may determine; and any lands so proclaimed may thereafter be sold at a like price and subject to the
like terms and conditions, or as near thereto as may be, as Crown lands of the same class not within a
mining district: And the Governor may from time to time alter, amend, or revoke any such Proclamation:
Now, therefore, I, George Augustus Constantine, Marquis of Normanby, the Governor of the Colony of
New Zealand, do hereby declare that the lands specified in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale, the
rural lands in sections of not less than twenty acres nor more than three hundred and twenty acres, and
that the twentieth day of March instant shall be the day on which the said lands shall be open for sale.
