LAND TRANSFER ACT NOTICE.

NOTICE is hereby given that HENRY WILSON,
of Invercargill, Ironmonger, and THOMAS
PERKINS, of the same place, Accountant, claiming
as Devisees under the Will of ELIZABETH COWPER,
late of Invercargill, aforesaid, deceased, have made
application to the District Land Registrar of the
District of Southland to be registered as Proprietors
in fee-simple of Section six (6), Block one (I.);
Section eighteen (18), Block seventy-two (LXXII.),
Town of Invercargill; and part of Section twenty-
eight (28), Block one (I.), Invercargill Hundred,
known as Allotment twenty-three (23), Harewood;
and that the said Henry Wilson and Thomas Perkins
will be so registered as such proprietors unless caveat
be lodged at this office forbidding the same within one
calendar month from the date of publication of this
notice.

heretofore subsisting between the undersigned,
SIDNEY GRIFFITHS BRANDON and GEORGE BRUCE,
as Sheepfarmers at Waikari, in the Provincial Dis-
trict of Hawke's Bay, under the firm of "Bruce and
Co.," has been dissolved by mutual consent.
All claims against the said firm must be sent in to
the said Sidney Griffiths Brandon without delay.

A Special General Meeting of the Shareholders
of the above Company, held at the Town Hall,
Palmerston, on Tuesday, the 26th day of February,
1878, the Liquidator's Accounts were considered and
approved of, and the following resolution passed:-
"That this meeting is of opinion that the affairs
of the Palmerston and Waikouaiti Times Printing
Company (Limited) have been fairly wound up."

April, 1878, to the Registrar for Canterbury Pro-
vince (with whom is deposited the evidence of my
qualification) to be registered under the Medical
Practitioners Act.

NOTICE UNDER "THE PUBLIC WORKS. ACT, 1876”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Blueskin Road
Board intend to take a road one hundred links
wide from the Purakanui Main District Road to the
Railway Line, near the north mouth of the Deborah
Bay Tunnel, on the Dunedin and Moeraki Railway.
The proposed road will leave the Main District
Road at a point on Section 24, and connect with the
Railway Line in Section 19, passing through Sections
24, 47, 23, and 19, Block IV., North Harbour and
Blueskin Survey District.

A plan of the road proposed to be taken through
the above-mentioned sections can be seen at the resi-
dence of the undersigned, at Purakanui, up to the
8th day of April next; and all persons affected
thereby are requested to set forth in writing any
well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands
or the making of such road, and to send such writing
within forty days from the date hereof to the office
of the Blueskin Road Board.

I HEREBY give notice that I intend to construct
a Water-race and divert water for mining pur-
poses, commencing at a point fourteen chains above
the Homeward Bound Company's new machine site
at Twelve-Mile Creek, and terminating at the said
machine site.
The length of such race is fourteen chains or there-
abouts, and its intended course is north and south.
