Act, 1877," sections 119 and others, the under-men-
tioned Pasturage Runs will, at the same time, be
submitted to auction, at the upset amounts of rent
respectively hereunder mentioned.

Gold-Mining Leases to be granted.

PUBLIC NOTIFICATION.

IN conformity with the thirty-seventh section of
"The Mines Act, 1877," and with the regulations
made under that Act for the granting of leases for
gold-mining purposes, it is hereby notified that it is
intended to grant leases of Crown lands for gold-
mining purposes to the applicants specified in the an-
nexed Schedule, unless there shall be valid objections
against such leases.

Objections to the granting of such leases, stating
the grounds of objection, must be made in writing,
and lodged with the Warden at Hatter's Terrace,
Nelson Creek, Grey, on or before the 22nd day of
November, 1878.

Copy of the applications made and plans annexed
may be seen at the Warden's Office at Hatter's
Terrace, Nelson Creek.

SCHEDULE.

APPLICANT: Michael Roche. 6 acres, Hatter's Ter-
race, Nelson Creek, Nelson South-West Mining
District.

Applicant: Samuel Thrower. 4 acres, Hatter's
Terrace, Nelson Creek, Nelson South-West Mining
