NOTICE UNDER "THE JOINT STOCK COMPANIES
ACT, 1860," AND UNDER "THE JOINT STOCK COM-
PANIES ACT AMENDMENT ACT, 1863."

NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the Mercury Bay Saw-
mill Company (Limited) will be held at their office,
on Wednesday, 23rd instant, at 2 o'clock p.m., to
pass the following special resolution, of which due
notice has been given by Mr. Thomas Peacock,
viz. :-
"That the Mercury Bay Saw-mill Company (Limi-
ted) be wound-up voluntarily."

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.

IT is hereby publicly notified that the road between
Feilding and Halcombe, by way of the Mangaone
Road, from the boundary of the Town of Halcombe,
and by way of Makino Road and Manchester Street
to Feilding, is declared a County Road.

THIS is to give notice that, in accordance with
section 5 of "The District Railways Act, 1877,"
the under-mentioned places have been appointed for
the deposit of plans and books of reference :—
The Police Station, Gore;
Hanson's Hotel, Lumsden; and
The Council Chambers, Invercargill.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
business hitherto carried on by us, the under-
signed, as Newspaper Proprietors, Printers, and
Publishers, at Greytown, in the Wairarapa West
County, under the firm of "Wakelin and Payton,"
has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and
that all liabilities of the said firm will be discharged
by, and all moneys due to the said firm must be paid
to, the said Richard Wakelin, whose receipt alone
will be a sufficient discharge for the same, and who
will in future carry on the said business.

visions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Dusky Sound
    Copper-Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of operations is at Dusky Sound, Otago.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Princes Street, Dunedin.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is fifty thousand
    pounds, in fifty thousand shares of one pound each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is fifty thousand.
  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is four shillings per share.
  8. The name of the Manager is George Watson.
