NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership
business hitherto carried on by us, the under-
signed, as Newspaper Proprietors, Printers, and
Publishers, at Greytown, in the Wairarapa West
County, under the firm of "Wakelin and Payton,"
has this day been dissolved by mutual consent, and
that all liabilities of the said firm will be discharged
by, and all moneys due to the said firm must be paid
to, the said Richard Wakelin, whose receipt alone
will be a sufficient discharge for the same, and who
will in future carry on the said business.

Dated at Greytown, this first day of October, one
thousand eight hundred and seventy-eight.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Welcome Extended Gold-Mining
Company as a Limited Company, under the pro-
visions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

1. The name of the Company is to be the Welcome Ex-
   tended Gold-Mining Company (Limited).
2. The place of operations is at Waitekauri, Ohinemuri Dis-
   trict, Thames County, in the Colony of New Zealand.
3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
   the office of Thomas Horsbrugh, Queen Street, Thames, Colony
   of New Zealand.
4. The nominal capital of the Company is seven thousand
   five hundred pounds, in fifteen thousand shares of ten shilliugs
   each.
5. The number of shares subscribed for is fifteen thousand,
   being the entire number of shares in the Company.
6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.
7. The amount already paid up is nil.
8. The name of the Manager is Thomas Horsbrugh.
