THE following abstracts of accounts of the Fairfax Cemetery, Tokomairiro, and of the Mount Ida
Cemetery, Naseby, are published in accordance with section 14 of "The (Otago) Cemetery Reserves
Management Ordinance, 1864."

THE following By-laws of the Coromandel High-
way District Board are published in accordance
with section 19 of "The Highway Boards Empower-
ing Act, 1871."

BY-LAWS FOR THE REGULATION OF OMNIBUSES,
CABS, CARS, WAGONS, DRAYS, AND ALL OTHER
VEHICLES PLYING FOR HIRE WITHIN THE CORO-
MANDEL HIGHWAY DISTRICT.
NOTICE. To all persons whom it may concern.--In
pursuance of the seventh section of "The Auckland
Municipal Police Act, 1866," we, the Coromandel
Highway Trustees, being the local authority for the
time being, do hereby agree and proclaim as follows:----
That all owners of omnibuses, cabs, cars, wagons,
drays, and any other vehicles plying for hire within
the proclaimed district, shall obtain from the High-
way District Board a license permitting such omni-
buses, &c., to carry a certain number of passengers
either inside or outside. Said license to be in force,
only for any part of the year ending on the 30th
day of June following the date for which it is issued.
For every such license there shall be paid to the
District Board-For an omnibus, cab, car, &c., set on
four wheels, one (£1) pound; and for an omnibus,
&c., set on two wheels, ten (10s.) shillings. For a
wagon, dray, &c., set on four wheels, one (£1)
pound; and for a wagon, dray, &c., set on two
wheels, ten (10s.) shillings.
