THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Esquire, Judge of the Native Land Court, under the
seal of the said Court, it was ordered that a memorial
of the ownership of Paka Rawiri and others to
the land and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto be inscribed on the Court rolls:
And whereas the said Paka Rawiri is an infant
under the age of twenty-one years, and it is ex-
pedient that Poaneki Rangitokona be appointed
trustee under the said Act, on behalf of the said
Paka Rawiri:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the Colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in
him by the said Act, doth hereby order that the
interest and share of the said Paka Rawiri in the
land described in the Schedule hereto shall be
and remain vested in
POANEKI RANGITOKONA,
as Trustee, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Paka Rawiri during his
minority.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District
of Wellington, containing by admeasurement one
hundred and three (103) acres and thirty-three (33)
perches, more or less, situate at Whanganui, in the
District of Whanganui, being called or known by
the name of Poutama. Bounded towards the South-
west by the Rakato Block 1140 links, 610 links, 793
links, and 253 links, the Ohakari Stream, again by the
Rakato Block 745 links and 366 links, and by a
line 780 links; and on all other sides by the Wha-
nganui River.

the Railway Reserve; on the North-east by a public
road; on the South-west by Rural Section No. 65;
and on the South-east by the Mangaatua River.
All those parcels of land in the Woodville District,
being Rural Section numbered one hundred and
seventy-three (173), containing forty-two (42) acres,
and Rural Section numbered one hundred and
seventy-four (174), containing sixty-five (65) acres,
be the said areas more or less.
All that parcel of land in the Makaretu District,
in the Waipawa County, estimated to contain two
thousand (2,000) acres, more or less. Bounded on
the North by the Mangatewai Stream; on the East
by Applications Nos. 29, 162, 163, and 164, Maka-
retu District; on the South by the Makaretu River;
and on the West by a straight line running due
north (magnetic) from a point on the north bank of
the Makaretu River, distant one mile or thereabouts
in a westerly direction from the western boundary of
Application No. 164 until it strikes the Mangatewai
Stream.
All that parcel of land in the Maraekakahu
District, situate in the Hawke's Bay County,
estimated to contain five thousand six hundred
(5,600) acres, more or less. Bounded on the
North-east by Block No. 63, Maraekakahu District,
twenty-three thousand one hundred (23100) links
or thereabouts; on the South-east by a straight line
running from the south-west boundary of Block No.
63, on a bearing of 214° 33′ (magnetic), a distance of
eighteen thousand five hundred (18500) links or
thereabouts; on the South-west by a straight line on
a bearing of 304° 33′ (magnetic) until it strikes
Taruarau River; and on the North-west by the
Taruarau River.
All that parcel of land in the Patoka District,
situate in the Hawke's Bay County, estimated to
contain three thousand (3,000) acres, more or less.
Land reserved in the Provincial District of Hawke's
Bay.
NORMANBY, Governor.
IN pursuance of the power and authority in me
vested by "The Hawke's Bay Waste Lands Regu-
lations Amendment Act, 1874," and "The Waste
Lands Administration Act, 1876," respectively, I
hereby reserve the land in the Provincial District of
Hawke's Bay described in the Schedule hereunto
annexed, for educational purposes.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Township of Wood-
ville, being Suburban Section numbered fourteen
(14), containing by admeasurement eight (8) acres
two (2) roods and nine (9) perches, more or less,
inclusive of two (2) acres reserved the 29th of
March, 1877, in Gazette No. 29, of 5th of April,
1877, as a site for a school.
All that parcel of land in the Woodville District,
being part of Rural Section numbered fourteen (14),
containing fifty-four (54) acres and one (1) rood,
more or less, being all that part of the said section
exclusive of five (5) acres reserved the 29th of
March, 1877, in Gazette No. 29, of 5th of April,
1877, as a burial reserve.
All those parcels of land in the Woodville District,
being Rural Section numbered two (2), containing
thirty (30) acres and two (2) roods, and Rural Section
numbered thirty-five (35), containing forty-two (42)
acres, be the said areas more or less.
All that parcel of land in the Woodville District,
being part of Rural Section numbered sixty-two (62),
and adjacent Crown land, containing forty-five (45)
acres, more or less. Bounded on the North-west by

eight thousand eight hundred (8800) links, and by
the Mohaka River; on the North-west by Application
No. 2273, two thousand seven hundred and sixty
(2760) links; on the West by Application No. 2272,
twelve thousand six hundred and thirty (12630)
links; on the South by Application No. 2272 four
thousand one hundred and fifty-seven (4157) links,
by Applications Nos. 2271 and 2278 twenty-three
thousand five hundred (23500) links, and by Crown
land two thousand seven hundred (2700) links or
thereabouts; and on the East by a straight line
running from the easternmost point on the southern
boundary of this reserve, on a bearing of 344° 30′
(magnetic), to the Mohaka River.
All that parcel of land in the Mohaka District,
situate in the Wairoa County, estimated to contain
two thousand (2,000) acres, more or less. Bounded
on the South-east by Block No. 25, Waikare District,
eighteen thousand (18000) links or thereabouts;
on the North-east by a straight line running on a
bearing of 312° (magnetic), a distance of ten thou-
sand (10000) links; on the North-west by a straight
line running on a bearing of 222° (magnetic) until
it strikes the Waikare River; and on the South-west
by the Waikare River.
All that parcel of land in the Wairoa District,
situate in the Wairoa County, estimated to contain
seven hundred (700) acres, more or less. Bounded
on the North-west by the road from Napier to
Wairoa via the Ohinepaka Valley; on the North by
Turiroa Agricultural Sections Nos. 35 and 36; on
the East by a straight line running from the
south-eastern corner of Section No. 35 to the north-
eastern corner of Potutu Rural Section No. 1, two
thousand one hundred (2100) links; on the South
by Potutu Rural Sections Nos. 17 and 18, seven
