I, WILLIAM ROGERS, Bachelor of Medicine
and Master of Surgery, residing at Milton,
Tokomairiro, do hereby give notice that I intend to
make application to the Registrar for the District of
Dunedin, on the 18th December, 1877, to have my
name placed on the Register of Medical Practitioners
in the Colony of New Zealand; and I have deposited
the evidence of my qualifications along with this in
the office of the said Registrar, in Dunedin, for public
inspection, in terms of "The Medical Practitioners
Registration Act, 1869."

THE LOAN AND INVESTMENT COMPANY OF NEW
ZEALAND (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given, that a General Meeting
of the Company will be held at Mr. C. Clark's
Rooms, Hereford Street, Christchurch, on Wednes-
day, 5th December, 1877, at 3 o'clock p.m., at which
the following Special Resolution will be proposed :-

"That the Company be wound up voluntarily, and
that the following persons be appointed Liqui-
dators-viz., Messrs. Peter Cunningham, John
Inglis, Edward Cephas John Stevens, George
Gatonby Stead, Charles Wesley Turner,
Robert Wilkin, and Edward George Wright."

And notice is also hereby given, that if the said
special resolution be passed at the said meeting, a
General Meeting of the Company, for the confirmation
of the resolution, and for general business, will be
held at the present offices of the Company, Hereford
Street, Christchurch, on Wednesday, 9th January,
1878, at 3 p.m.

I, the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Golden Treasure Gold Mining
Company as a Limited Company, under the provi-
sions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Golden Treasure
    Gold Mining Company (Limited).

  2. The place of operations is at Murray Creek, Inangahua
    County.

  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Reefton, County of Inangahua.

  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twelve thousand
    pounds, in twenty-four thousand shares of ten shillings each.

  5. The number of shares subscribed for is twenty-four
    thousand.

  6. The number of paid-up shares is nil.

  7. The amount considered as paid up is nil.

  8. The name of the Manager is Patrick Brennan.

  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,
