SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Provincial District of
Auckland, containing one thousand nine hundred
and seventy-two acres, more or less, situate at
Poverty Bay, District of Hawke's Bay, being called
or known by the name of Ahirau. Bounded on the
North by the Mangaaruhe Creek; on the West by
the Mangaoae Creek; on the South by the Mataikehu
Creek; on the South-east and East by survey lines
from Pukerautawhiri to Waiwhakaata, and thence to
the source of the Mautotara Stream to its junction
with the Mangaaruhe Creek on the northern
boundary.

Maori Real Estate Management Act, 1867."

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this
seventeenth day of November, 1877.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by "The Maori Real Estate Manage-
ment Act, 1867" (hereinafter called "the
said Act"), it is enacted that if any title to or
interest in any hereditaments shall accrue to any
Maoris, who or any of whom shall be infants,
lunatics, or under legal disability, it shall be lawful
for the Governor in Council, if he think fit, to order
that such hereditaments, or any part thereof or
interest therein as shall to the Governor in Council
be shown to belong to such infant, lunatic, or other
person under legal disability, shall be vested in
trustees, as the Governor in Council shall think fit:
And whereas by an Order bearing date the twenty-
ninth day of November, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-five, under the hand of John Rogan,
Esquire, Judge of the Native Land Court, under the
seal of the said Court, it was ordered that a memorial
of the ownership of Atiria Hauwaho and others to
the lands and hereditaments described in the Schedule
hereto be inscribed on the Court rolls:
And whereas the said Atiria Hauwaho is an infant
under the age of twenty-one years, and it is ex-
pedient that Mere Peka Kaimako, of Poverty
Bay, be appointed trustee under the said Act, on
behalf of the said Atiria Hauwaho:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of
New Zealand, with the advice and consent of the
Executive Council of the colony, in exercise and in
pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him
by the said Act, doth hereby order that the interest
and share of the said Atiria Hauwaho in the land
described in the Schedule hereto shall be and
remain vested in
MERE PEKA KAIMAKO,
as Trustee, within the meaning and for the purposes
of the said Act, for the said Atiria Hauwaho during
her minority.
SCHEDULE.

Auckland, containing by admeasurement seven thou-
sand and ninety (7,090) acres, more or less, situate
at Poverty Bay, in the District of Hawke's Bay, being
called or known by the name of Mangataikapua.
Bounded on the North by the Waimakara Stream; on
the West by the Waipaoa River; on the South and
South-east by the Mangataikapua Creek; on the
East by survey lines separating this Block from
Te Pakake-o-Whirikoka "Oil Spring" Block.
