Commissioner under Section 31, "Financial Arrange-
ments Act, 1876," appointed.

Wellington, 20th October, 1877.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint the under-mentioned gentleman to be
a Commissioner under section 31 of "The Financial
Arrangements Act, 1876," to inquire into and deter-
mine the proportionate part of the moneys made
payable by the said Act to the districts included in
the county set opposite to his name.

Arrangements for First Elections, Borough of
West Harbour.

Colonial Secretary's Office,
Wellington, 20th October, 1877.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to
appoint

WILLIAM JAMES BOLT
to be Town Clerk of the Borough of West Harbour;
and

JAMES KIRBY
to be Returning Officer, to hold the first election of
Mayor, Councillors, and Auditors of the said borough.

Also, to appoint Monday, the 19th day of Novem-
ber, for the election of Mayor; and Wednesday, the
21st day of November, for the election of Council-
lors; and Friday, the 23rd day of November, for the
election of Auditors of the said borough.

Also, to appoint Monday, the 26th day of Novem-
ber, at noon, for the first meeting of the Council of
the said borough, and the Schoolhouse, Rothesay, to
be the place of such meeting.
