NOTICE.

ASHBURTON COAL MINING COMPANY (LIMITED).

A GENERAL MEETING of the above Company,
to consider a Special Resolution, "That the
Ashburton Coal Mining Company (Limited) be
voluntarily wound up," will take place at Mr. John
Hood's Hotel, Mount Somers, at 7 p.m., on Friday,
the 19th October, 1877.

MESSENGER'S GOLD MINING COMPANY
(REGISTERED).

To the Registrar of the Supreme Court, Auckland.

TAKE notice that RODERICK MCDONALD SCOTT has
I been appointed Manager of the above-named
Company, vice Alexander Hume, resigned; and that
the Office of the said Company has been removed
from Albert Street, Grahamstown, to the corner of
Albert and Brown Streets, Grahamstown, Thames.

I the undersigned, hereby make application to
register the Queen of Beauty Extended Gold
Mining Company as a Limited Company, under the
provisions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."

  1. The name of the Company is to be the Queen of Beauty
    Extended Gold Mining Company (Limited).
  2. The place of operations is at Grahamstown, in the Pro-
    vincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand.
  3. The registered office of the Company will be situated at
    Albert and Davy Streets, Grahamstown, in the Provincial
    District of Auckland and Colony of New Zealand.
  4. The nominal capital of the Company is twenty thousand
    pounds sterling, in twenty thousand shares of one pound sterling
    each.
  5. The number of shares subscribed for is fifteen thousand,
    being more than two-thirds of the entire number of shares in
    the Company.
  6. The number of shares paid up is nil.
  7. The amount already paid up is ten thousand pounds
    sterling, the same being estimated value of mine and plant.
  8. The name of the Manager is Dennis Gilmore MacDonnell.
  9. The names, addresses, and occupations of the share-
    holders, and the number of shares held by each at this date,
