Tobacconist, being the residue of a term of seven
years from the 6th March, 1876, of all that parcel
of land situate in the City of Wellington aforesaid,
being portions of Sections numbered respectively 1
and 2 on the plan of the land from Port Nicholson,
commencing at a point on the western boundary line
of the said sections distant about twenty-eight feet
and eight inches from the north-western corner or
angle of the said Section number 2, and running
thence in a southerly direction along the western
boundary line of the said sections, and having a
frontage on Willis Street eighteen feet and two
inches, and running back therefrom in an easterly
directi parallel with the northern and southern
boundary lines of the said sections, sixty-eight feet,
and forming a rectangular block, with the shop and
the buildings thereon, and the appurtenances; and
that I intend to cause the same to be sold at the
auction rooms, on Panama Street, in the City of
Wellington, of Mr. R. J. Duncan, on the 15th day of
October, 1877, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon.

TO THE REGISTRAR-GENERAL, WELLINGTON.
I HEREBY give you notice that it is my intention
to apply to you, on the 3rd day of November
next ensuing, to be registered under the provisions
of "The Medical Practitioners Registration Act,
1869." I am a Licentiate of the Faculty of Physi-
cians and Surgeons, Glasgow. My name appears in
the "British Medical Register," 1865 (then House
Surgeon, Rochdale General Dispensary), as having
been registered with the said qualifications, but my
diploma was burnt when the fire occurred in the
Empire Hotel, Wellington, on the 26th March, 1876.
I reside at Clyde, Wairoa, Hawke's Bay.

(LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given, that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the City of London Gold
Mining Company (Limited) will be held at the
registered office of the Company, Wyndham Street,
City of Auckland, on Thursday, the 29th day of
November, 1877, at 12 o'clock noon, for the pur-
pose of confirming the following special resolution
passed at the extraordinary general meeting of the
Company, held on the 7th day of September, 1877,
viz.,-
"That the City of London Gold Mining Company
(Limited) be wound up voluntarily, and that a liqui-
dator be appointed."
