THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

  1. To what share, estate, or interest did the defendant Nikera Whitingara become entitled in the said
    land by virtue of the said grant?
  2. To what share, estate, or interest did Karauria Tamaiwhakakiteaterangi, one of the grantees in the
    said grant named, become entitled in the said land by virtue of the said grant?
  3. To what share, estate or interest did Te Waaka Kawatini, one of the grantees in the said grant
    named, become entitled in the said land by virtue of the said grant?
    Notice is hereby given, that the said issues in the above-named action will be tried at Napier, Hawke's
    Bay, on the 9th day of October next, and following days.
    And whereas the plaintiff is a member of the General Assembly, notice is further given, that if
    Parliament is assembled on the said 9th day of October, the hearing of the said issues will be adjourned, or
    the Court will be postponed from time to time.

NOTEMEA i puta tetahi kupu whakatau e kupu whakatau a te Kooti Huperimi o Niu Tirani i te rua
rua tekau ma wha o nga ra o Hurae kua pahure ake nei kia tukua ma te Kooti Whenua Maori e ata

A sitting of the Native Land Court of New Zealand, begun and holden at Whanganui, on the
eighteenth day of July, 1877, and concluded at Marton, Rangitikei, on the sixteenth day of August,
1877, before Theophilus Heale, Esquire, Judge, and Wiremu Mita Hikairo, Assessor:
In the matter of the several applications of persons for the investigation of their claims to be
interested in the several blocks of land named in the first column of the Schedule hereto, it was ordered
that a memorial of the ownership of the several persons respectively named in the third column of the said
Schedule be inscribed on a separate folium of the Court Rolls.
Witness the hand of Theophilus Heale, Esquire, Judge, and the Seal of the Court, the
sixteenth day of August, 1877.
