THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.
Cranage to be charged at 6d. per ton; additional
charge, where crane has to be fetched, 1s. per mile
(one way only); minimum charge for fetching
crane, 15s.
Beer and cider, in bulk, to be eliminated from
Class B, and carried as Class C.
Green horse-feed to be carried as Class E.
Shipping goods between Dunedin and Port
Chalmers of Classes A, B, C, D, to be carried as
Class D.
Classes A, B, C, D, minimum charge for any quan-
tity to be 1s.
Classes F and G, for each loading or unloading
done by the Railway Department, 5s. per truck will
be charged.
Meats preserved to be carried as Class D.
Empty check wagons 6d. per truck per mile up to
50 miles, and 3d. per truck per mile for each addi-
tional mile.
Agricultural implements, not otherwise specified,
above 2 tons in weight, owner's risk, to be carried as
Class A; less than 2 tons, to be as Class C.
Machines, at owners' risk viz., winnowing
leather-cutting, stripping, printing, threshing, reap-
ing, sodawater, clod-crushing, chaff-cutting, smut,
weighing, and flour-dressing; engines-fire, beer, and
garden; hay-rakes and elevators, horse-works; cheese,
wool, hay, and wine presses; steam-ploughs, mangles,
and all machines not otherwise specified-above 2 tons
in weight to be carried as Class A; less than 2 tons
to be as Class C.
Hay, straw, and chaff to be eliminated from Class
E and charged at special rate as follows:-6s. per
truck for distances of 5 miles and under; and for
each additional mile, 7d. per truck per mile up to 50
miles; and for each additional mile, 6d. per truck per
mile.
Post and rails and split house-blocks to be elimi-
nated from Class G, and to be carried as Class F.
Parcels above 56lbs., and not exceeding 112lbs. :-

or fraction of 25 miles, 9d.
£1 per truck per day demurrage will be charged
for trucks not unloaded by consignees within four
working hours of their arrival. If not discharged
within that period, the goods may, at the option of
the Manager, be unloaded, and stacked and stored at
the risk and expense of the consignor.
