NOTICE is hereby given, that the parcel of land
hereinafter described will be brought under
the provisions of "The Land Transfer Act, 1870,"
unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same on or
before the 8th day of October next.

JANE ALLEN, of Wellington, Widow, and
FRANK ALLEN, of Wellington, Accountant,
Devisees under the Will of WILLIAM ALLEN,
late of Wellington, deceased, have applied to be
registered as proprietors of an estate in fee-simple in
that part of Section 554, City of Wellington, con-
taining 32 perches, comprised and described in
Certificate of Title Register Book, Vol. I., fol. 98.
The Applicants will be registered accordingly
unless a caveat forbidding the same be lodged in this
office on or before the 8th day of October next.

PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.
THE Partnership hitherto subsisting between
JOSEPH ORAM SHEPPARD and EDWIN COOKSON,
trading as Hotelkeepers at the Garrick Hotel,
Christchurch, under the style or firm of "Sheppard
and Cookson," was dissolved on the 31st day of July
last by mutual consent.
All accounts owing to or by the late firm will be
received or paid by Mr. Edwin Cookson, who will in
future carry on the business on his own account.

NOTICE is hereby given, that an Extraordinary
General Meeting of the City of London Gold
Mining Company (Limited) will be held at the
Registered Office, Wyndham Street, Auckland, on
the 7th day of September next, at twelve o'clock
noon, for the purpose of passing, if approved, the
following Resolutions: -"1. That the Directors be
authorized to dispose of the Company's Mine and
Plant to the Queen of Beauty Gold Mining Com-
pany, and to carry into effect an amalgamation with
the last-named Company, upon such terms and con-
ditions as the Directors may agree upon;" and to
transact any other business that may be brought
before the meeting. "2. That the City of London
Gold Mining Company (Limited) be wound-up
voluntarily, and a liquidator be appointed."

register the New North Devon Gold Mining
Company as a Limited Company, under the pro-
visions of "The Mining Companies Act, 1872."
- The name of the Company is to be the New North Devon
Gold Mining Company (Limited). - The place of operation is at Moanataiari Creek, Hauraki
District, in the Province of Auckland, in the Colony of New
Zealand. - The registered office of the Company will be situated at
the corner of Albert and Brown Streets, in the Province of
Auckland and Colony of New Zealand. - The nominal capital of the Company is eight thousand
pounds sterling, in eight thousand shares of one pound each. - The number of shares subscribed for is eight thousand,
being the entire number of shares in the Company. - The number of paid-up shares is nil.
- The amount already paid up is nil.
- The name of the Manager is Roderick McDonald Scott.
